My hubby has a customer at work who is going to get us in to dine at Club 33!!! The trip is sans children for our 10th anniversary (which is actually in less than one week).
I've looked online for hotels and it seems that the DL hotels are all booked for the dates we would be going. I do have three different sets of dates so I'm wondering if something is going on or are the hotels just booking up that quickly? We went in May 2005 and I know we didn't have any trouble getting a room.
My dates to eat at Club 33 are Sept. 11, Sept. 18 or Oct. 9. I need to figure this out soon so we can get confirmation on everything. I am calling AAA since we booked our trip with them last time and our agent seemed to be able to work some magic in finding us a room for an extra day at the last minute.
Awesome CM story from our last trip. We were stopped in line at the bellhop CM who was metering the flow of people at Tower of Terror. With the new name tags that gave their starting date I noticed that he had started working only a year or two after the park opened. I mentioned that he must be close to having top senority (he said he thought he was #2 or #3) and we chatted for a minute or so until he excused himself to make a phone call. He was very quiet on the phone and I didn't think much of it. We waited a bit longer and then the phone rang back and we were told to go ahead and follow another CM. We were put to the front of the fast pass line!! The wait was more than 30 min but not long enough that getting a fast pass would have been worth it. I didn't realize what had happened until I looked around while we were waiting for the elevator and noticed all the people on an upper level and behind us.
I guess being the people person who talks to everyone has its advantages! LOL
