Looking for Info (hotel) for DisneyLand

Hi. We are traveling to Anaheim to take our boys (ages 6 & 8) to Disney and probably CA. Adventure. Looking for hotel suggestions and any other info you think would be helpful to us. Thanks so much!

I'm also planning a trip in nov 2010 ... i have been shopping around at the good neighborhood hotels, much cheaper and still very close (depending which you choose) but most walking distance away from dl entrance.

they have an awesome pirate themed water park within the hotel called castaway cove. this is my top choice b/c of it. I too have boys younger than your but they would ALL love it. oh and they also have an awesome kids suite or other suites that would accomodate up to 8ppl.

I have found that books from the library help a ton. I havent looked for any disneyland books but Im sure they are out there. The books i have found for Disney World are great. They give reviews on all the hotels and rides/resteraunts. They also help you on when to go and how to save on reservations and such. hope this helps.

i agree ... well I went to barnes and noble and purchased the Fodor's Disneyland & Southern Cal w/ Kids 2010. (9th Edition) for 16.95.

Tons of helpful general info on all hotels ...has all listings and comparibles plus everything you need to know about planning a vacation to DL.

When in August? I was going to go the first week, but was afraid of the heat and crowds. So its been switched to the Holidays.

There are a couple of sticky's at the top of the board that are most help full in planning. Many folks like Hojo's and Candy Cane but there are many,many choices depending on what you require.
