With a family of 8 (3 teens) food is the most expensive part of this whole trip. I need to find inexpensive buffets off site to keep the kids refueled. We plan to eat only one big meal a day. A buffet around 2pm helps and then we do soup and sandwiches at the villa around 8.We need prices and location-thanks

Consensus of lots of folks is the Golden Corral on 192 just west of Disney....gets lots more votes than Pondorosa....There are lots of Chinese Buffets around on 192..I am not sure which is best, but usually lots to eat and fairly healthy....The all you can eat Lobster and Prime Buffets are pretty expensive....good luck...Ted

First off I would look for the Ci Ci Pizza in Orlando. 3.99 for the buffet like 1.29 for drink. You get all the pizza, saland and dessert you can all for about 5.69. It may verys from Ci Ci Pizza across nation. I would hit the Golden Corral. They have a excellent buffet for the money. For example 10.29 right off top my head. I would consider Shoney's breafast buffet to which is good buffet it's like 7.00 with drink included price i add to it. I would do the Sizzler. But have not been to one in Orlando. Also i would look for a Ryan's to which is similar to the Golden Corral. Here's another try to BareHill Buffet which also similar to the golden Corral to. Also I would look for a Pically Cafertia to it's aboutthe same price as a buffet get salad two vetgates and meat and dessert for 7.99. It's plenty of food. Trust me I can eat.

I don't know if they have one in the area look for a Farzelli's which have cheap pasta plates. Which get alot food and plus you get free bread sticks. It will run about 5.69 that's drink included.

As see I'm the buffet Queen. That's all I eat at home.

I hope that helps

My vote is for Sweet Tomatoes. They have an extensive salad bar. About 6 different homemade soups(including chile and onoin soups) A bread section with alot of different breads, including pizza and foccicia (sp??) bread, a pasta bar with 3 different freshly made pastas. and ice cream for desert with a couple of toppings. For dinner it was about $8.50 for an adult and $4 for a child. Good value.

Where is Sweet Tomatoes?

We had a nice dinner at Las Vegas buffet. DOn't remember the price but we had a coupon from one of those coupon boooks you get at the grocery stores there.

Got to second Sweet Tomatoes. It was a really fresh buffet. The salads were great. I will probably make it a regular stop on my trips. It's located on I-drive near the Belz outlets, not far from Universal.

Another vote for Sweet Tomatoes. You can usually find coupons for $5.49/lunch or $6.49 dinner buffets in the same packet that your regular grocery coupons come in. I'm not sure if the coupons apply at the Orlando locations, but it's a good deal either way. Bon apetit!

Our kids loved it, and begged to eat there every night. We thought it was pretty good as far as Buffets go....

Golden Corral is very good value but Las Vegas Buffet was mentioned as having failed its health inspection, so I would be a bit wary about that one.

Here's the CiCi's Pizza locations in Orlando:

I would recommend the Sizzler...they always have coupons in the tourist books, and the buffet was excellent (tacos, soup, salad bar, brownies, ice cream, etc.). I had malibu chicken, but hubby said his steak was pretty good too (especially for an inexpensive place).

Sweet Tomatoes is up by the Belz outlet. Great place. I would also suggest Golden Coral. The chicken is great.

Another vote for Golden Corral. They have a nice selection of meats, sides, and desserts.Baked potato's and soups too :) The only thing is, drinks are not included, just and FYI.

We like Golden Corral and Sizzler.

Have you ever eaten at Trail's End in Fort Wilderness? A little more expensive than the off site places but we like it. It's 8.99 for adults and 5.99 for kids

We have an excellent Golden Corral near home and that's what we'll go to at WDW if we want a good buffet value. In addition to the 192 location, I saw one on 535 somewhere between 536 and Hotel Plaza Blvd, on the east side of the road.

I also like the NY China Buffet: http://www.floridawebinfo.com/nychinabuffet/.

They have great food and you can usually find a coupon for them in any Orlando coupon book. They are also very close, just down the street from The Crossroads. The best part about dinner is all you can eat crab legs!

Golden Corral is good but go to the one on 535 next to bahama breeze. It is alot nicer than the one down further on I Drive
Sweet Tomatoes is also excellent.
