Hello everyone. I have been collecting various versions of the mouse ears sold inside the parks. I don't have an exact count right now, but I'd say there are maybe 15 or so at this point. I've been reorganizing and such and decided that I'd really like to display all (or most) of these nicely. So, I was wondering if anyone else here collects the mouse ear hats. Even if you don't, does anyone have any clever and interesting ideas I may use for displaying them? I'd prefer to not have them take up TOO much space. Thanks in advance! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

One piece of advice I can offer is never ever put it on display in the back window of your car. I'm sure it's not common knowledge but I didn't get the memo and ended up with melted Pirate ears. :sad1:

I'm looking at my room right now, and I'd love to have them as a border going across a wall. :D

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that happened. :sad1:
Hanging them around as a border would be cute, and would keep them above other stuff. The only worry I have is that they will need to be fairly high up and I wouldn't be able to access them frequently enough to make sure cobwebs and such don't begin to form. I used to have something else around as a border and by the time they came down the cobwebs and dust were crazy. It's a clever idea, though. I'm going to seriously consider it (and try to come up with a way to minimize the collection of dust up there). Thanks! :)

I am not home otherwise I would post a photo. I have my collection up on top of the door frame of the double doors in my bedroom. they really don't get that dusty there, but would if they were in a kitchen with all the cooking grease in the air.
I have about 50 Mouse Ears antenna heads. I don't have any other characters, only Mickey.
I bought a 1'X3' board, the length of the door frame along the top at Home Depot along with some thin dowel wood, thin enough to fit in the antenna topper. I drilled holes in the wood 3 rows and about 2" apart lengthwise I then cut the dowels to the size I wanted and glue the dowels into the wood depending on the length I want. I made three rows, a 1", a 3" and an 6" dowel so that I can use the short dowels for the smalll heads and the higher dowels for the longer heads like the white ghost or the spider etc... I don't have all of them in front of others yet but someday will as my collection grows. I have more dowels cut so I can add more as I get more heads, the holes are already cut into the wood.
If I remember when I get home I will post, but tomorrow I am going over to see the mouse and have to look for more.
