My dh and I will by flying into Orlando late at night and the rest of our family will follow throughout the night.

We thought it would be nice to get a nice hotel close to the airport, so that everyone could ride the free hotel shuttle to the hotel, get a good nites rest and then all hop in a limo (we will have 10 people) to take us to Disney after a good nites rest.

Can anyone reccomend a great hotel by the airport?

Thanks!

We stayed at the Sheraton Suites. VERY clean and nice. It had 2 full beds and a pull-out sofa. So, with that, I believe it slept 6. It had an indoor-outdoor pool. They had shuttle service from the hotel to airport. Their number is: (407) 240-5555

There are lots of new hotels by the airport, all of which offer a convenient shuttle to and from the airport. From what I hear, many of the hotels are offering discounts, so be sure to shop around and find the best deal!

Here are some hotels that I am aware of:

Fairfield Inn by Marriott
Hampton Inn
Hilton Garden Inn
Hyatt Hotel
Marriott Hotel
Sheraton Suites

They each have their own sites....and most of these hotels have been reviewed in the past too.

I've stayed at the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel twice thanks to Priceline. I bid $20 for a 3 star airport area hotel and got it both times. I really like this hotel. It's small and classy and has incredible food! The shuttle is free and friendly.

Because I'm such a nervous Nellie, we're staying at the Hyatt which is the only one directly in the airport the night before our flight leaves (at 5:30 AM!). Plus, this way I can turn the rental car in the night before and have one less thing to worry about at that ungodly early hour of the morning! Not cheap, but worth the peace of mind...

I vote for the Hyatt, not cheap but not terribly expensive either. We love to watch people so the Hyatt in airport is great.

Actually I just checked rates at the Hyatt and it was $124 for a double bed room, so it is relatively cheap, I think last time we stayed there it was closer to $200

AAA rate at the Hyatt for 1/4 (a Friday) cost me $119 (+11% tax). Worth it for the peace of mind. Now I have to figure out how early to get up if our flight leaves at 5:30 am! Any ideas?
