Looking for HHI reservation 5 nights in June

I unfortunately was one day late on this reservation and now on waiting list for June. Also looked into RCI, Coral Reef in the Shipyard Plantation, if anyone has any reviews on that would appreciate. Thanks!

We could only get 3 night for the first week in June and had to waitlist the 4th night in a 2 bedroom(other days are in 1 bedroom). Wait list came thru this week, so there is a chance for you at HHI. Don't know about exchanges there..we jus tlove the resort so wouldn't really do an exchange. Good luck with whichever you decide. We will be there June6-10.

Thanks, we're also wait-listed for a 2BR 6/6 - 6/10 so you do give me a little hope! I hate to reserve the Coral Reef/RCI, it was available 5/30 - 6/4, which was earlier then we wanted. Maybe I'll hold off from that, thanks for the reply!

Just had a questions for you, did you receive reservation confirmation thru mail or were you calling everyday, or once a week? I've never wait-listed for anything yet. Thanks again for your help!

We have stayed at the Island Links resort on HHI. It is a beautiful resort in the Port Royal Plantation. It's on the RCI list. We have stayed in a two bedroom and a three bedroom.

It has two pools, one is zero entry and has two large umbrellas shading part of the pool. The resort has planned activities for kids. It is about 3/4 mile from the ocean. Beach access is through the Westin Hotel. You can park your car in the covered parking garage at the Westin or if it is full there is some outdoor parking or you can take the resort shuttle.

I have driven by the Coral Reef resort. It is owned and managed by the same company as Island Links. It looks nice, but has a much smaller pool.

Thanks, unfortunately Coral Reef was the only one available for nightly stays. Can't do a whole week which is 270 points for 2BR. Thanks though for future use!

We were missing a Wednesday ( had Mon-Tues and Thurs Fri) So we did a cash ressie for the Wed. I had put myself on the wait list but it wasn't happening so I called and got a june ressie this way. Nancy

I was trying for first two weeks in June, I recently called last Fri. and was told only Fri and Sat in the whole month was available. When did you call?

I haven't seen the Coral reef to compare but have stayed at Island Links and it is a nice resort though the location is not as good as someothers. I see NO 5 nights together in RCI starting 28 May through check out 4 July, 3 nights is the longest I saw. That may change later. You could likely rent a week for cash for less than the value of the 270 points for a week if you were so inclined.

Thank you for checking, in face I started looking online to rent for cash, maybe even for a week. Could you recommend a rental agency? There are so many and would rather deal with one that was recommended. The rates are not bad, I guess the economy has something to do with it. Thank you for all your help!

No agencies. You might look on TUG (Timeshare Users Group), ebay, craigslist or redweeks.
