Every year we give my DS 10 going on 30 lol a party, its not his birthday but a great reason to get the kids together for fun! ANyway, I usually have 3 legged pumpkin races, crafts and bobbinh gor donuts off the strings.

I think its getting tired though, and they are getting oplder and would love some new fresh ideas. They would like a bit more frightening and goulsih approach. I have loooked at Family Fun and some others and have not been wowed yet.

SO, I am asking can you WOW me PLease??? My son and pals would appreciate it!

One thing that is cool to make is "cat poop" cake. I make this every Halloween. The kids (and adults) go crazy and it's usually all gone by the end of the night! This is such an easy recipe and you really can't mess it up. It's one of those "dump" recipes! Just don't make it too far in advance or it will get mushy and be sure to refrigerate it just until serving time.

Buy a small plastic cat litter box, scoop and plastic liner. Make 2 white, yellow or spice cakes in 9 x 13 pans. Let cool and break into chunks. Put a layer of cake chunks in the lined box, drop dollops of pudding (any flavor instant or pre-made) over the cake chunks and repeat layers, ending w/cake. Sprinkle granola (No fruit kind) over the top. The recipe called for Grape Nuts, but kids would never eat it. You can also used crumbled graham crackers.

Now the fun part! Take various sized Tootsie rolls and microwave for a few seconds. Shape them into litlle cat poops. Be creative with your shapes, and hide some inside the cake. You can even hang one from the side of the box. Serve the cake with the cat litter scoop. It's hilarious!
