DH is a consultant and wants to thank a group of folks at work for being so great to him on a task they completed over the weekend. They are a group of about 40 IT workers at a data site. I was thinking of something along the lines of a huge tub of popcorn, pretzels, candy, etc. that they can all share. He wants to spend $50 - $75. Any suggestions? I looked online, but its hard to find a reputable place when you don't know exactly what you're looking for. I did find one place that looks good called Dale & Thomas Popcorn, has anyone bought from them before? Can anyone recommend anything? We're open to ideas. :teeth:

Harry and David looks nice, but for 40 people, we'd have to spend several hundred dollars. So that one is not an option. Thanks.

How about Cookies by Design -

Or have Sam's club do a special cake or cookies.

Cookies By Design are really cool - but it would cost him $51.50 for only 7 cookies! :scared1:

I found this place: http://www.kukuruza.com/index.php and it looks really, really good. Anyone every had any of this stuff? We could get about 7 gallons of classic and gourmet popcorns for about $80 plus shipping.

Also, Costco would not be an option since it has to be delivered. He does not work in the same office as this IT staff. They only know him by phone and email.

How about getting a party sub from Subway?

Or even ordering in pizza?

Contact a bakery about sending in an assortment of donuts/pasteries? or even a cake? Offer to pay a delivery fee to them? If you call the bakery at a grocery store with a deli lots of times they will have a van they can use for deliveries.

It can't be something that has to be eaten in a set period of time. This is a data center site where these guys (and gals) work in 12 hour shifts. Ordering fresh or hot food isn't an option.

I was watching the travel channel the other night and they had on ""Taste of Chicago" and featured Athena's Brownies. Her website is silverlanddesserts.com and she sells gourmet brownies, individually wrapped. Click on the bulk section and there are 42 individually wrapped brownies for $54.00. They looked yummy! And since they are wrapped, you don't have to worry about them getting dry or stale. It is nice you think about the different shifts, I work third shift and we always get dry old treats.
