Looking for Fried Chicken Sandwiches

I have been looking at the menus for CS all around Disney World trying to find fried chicken sandwiches. They used to be at the Tusker House before it became a buffet, and at the Leaning Palms in Typhoon Lagoon. Has anyone seen these sandwiches lately?

Golden Oak Outpost at MK has a yummy fried ckn sandwich. Pecos Bills has a fried ckn breast with gravy with mashed pot. and corn on the cobb that was good also.

Thanks for the info . I don't remember Golden Oak Outpost, and I didn't know Pecos Bill's sold fried chicken... I'll be sure to go there this year.

The Peco Bill's fried chicken steak is a special from what I gather it may not always be offered just a heads up. I personally want to try it so I hope it stays, and from dining reviews Ive seen it a few times! I like the Golden Outpost its not as busy as most CS places Ive been to in MK

I'll be sure to stop back a few times for the special... we go there at least twice each trip down.

Is the Golden Oak Outpost what used to be the McDonald's Fry Cart?

The Outpost is pretty much across the walkway from Peco's. The chicken at Pecos was new when we went in sept.,but I hope they continue to have it on the menu. I think they may use the same chicken breast at both places.

Update... no special at Pecos Bill each time I checked, and the sandwiches are very different from last year Probably healthier and cheaper. They had a faint taste of the old sandwiches, but the old ones were thicker, had breading that fell off of the chicken , and had bubbles on the breading. They're everywhere though, the old McDonalds place near Canada, Tomorrowland Terrace, and Golden Oak Outpost just to name a few

Check Pecos, though, maybe they just decided to not have it when I was there. They have cool new touch screen express ordering things for room charges/ddp/credit cards though

Oh, and I had Fish and Chips at CHH. Seems that they changed that too but they're still good

Yea that special is no longer on PB menu but I noticed that they seem to put out specials during FD so maybe they will put something like that out again mid Aug

Im a big fried chicken sandwich lover but didnt come across any last trip, mainly grilled chicken sandwiches. You may just have to settle for the fried chicken strips and maybe asking for a bun on the side.

It seems to have flipped this year. I found minimal grilled chicken and a lot of fried chicken, but the fried chicken is different.

I read that Backlot Express has a buffalo chicken sandwhich which would be a fried chicken sandwhich in a buffalo sauce.. Reviewer said it was good..
