Looking for Disney friends in the Southeast

Have you ever done a solo park visit? If not and you have the chance, do it.

I did a solo trip after my divorce, it was so much fun to do what I wanted to without having to discuss it with anyone else and do what someone else wanted to do.

don't get me wrong, I love going with people, but sometimes just roaming on your own is so much fun.

I have done a solo trip before, but it's been awhile! I think I already made the decision before I even asked the question :)

Just got back from my trip today. My solo day on Saturday was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be. Thanks for the gentle push everyone! :)

I'm not on this board much anymore, but, I do occasionally just check to see what is going on.

I live in Cary, NC. Moved here about three years ago. I have been going to WDW since 1983 and have made 43 trips there. All but the last three years have been from Vermont.

I have been with many combinations of friends, family and solo. The last 14 years have been primarily solo. 99% of the time I totally enjoy my solo trips. 1% of the time I feel sorry for myself and wish I had someone to share the trip with. The plus is it's just a 10 hour drive from here to the gates.

And War Eagle to you as well. I hate that the best crowds are when I've got prior commitments every saturday.

War eagle to both of you! Living in Auburn now but considering moving to NC for PA school, and my BF was stationed in NC while in the marines.

War Eagle! I live on Johns Creek, GA just north of Atlanta. I've started going to disney more often due to rundisney. My parents have been coming with me some, but I'm starting to do way too many for them especially Avengers and Star Wars a few months apart.

So Star Wars will be my first solo trip, but I was never going to turn that race down. Probably be doing another race or two next year as well but not sure which yet and those are likely to be solo.

I live in TN about 8hrs from WDW. I do solo but I'm there on business usually so while all the guys go play golf I hit the parks all by myself. I am looking to go down just for some RNR in Dec before Christmas rush hits. Hoping to stay at Wilderness Lodge for 3 nights and do all the Christmas stuff. Wouldn't mind splitting room cost with someone but not saying I would hang with you the whole time. No criminal record and good hygiene and no snoring are my only requirements. Happy to represent the dirty South!

I live in NorthEast Alabama. Love talking about my Disney obsession with anyone that will listen. Not many people understand....

I wish I traveled to Orlando for work on the occasion! Wilderness Lodge is creeping up on my list of places to stay. Sounds like it would be a great trip!
