Looking for Disney Dollars?

Anyone on the So Shore of Mass. Braintree Disney store reopened (different location) and they have disney dollars.

I don't think it's going to be reopening for awhile. When they closed they planned on leaving the plaza forever - so I don't even think they know where in the plaza they are reopening.

I was at the inlaws yesterday and went to the Disney Store at the Burlington Mall. They are not going to have Disney Dollars in until the beginning of May. They are redesigning them for the 50th anniversary.

Another South Shore Disney lover here! I didn't even kow the Disney Store in the Plaza had closed, I guess I don't get up there too often. Glad to hear they've reopened. I was really disappointed when they closed the one closest to us last year.

Thanks OP! That's great news. I went there a couple of months ago and was heartbroken to see the store gone. Where in the mall is it now?

Are you sure they have DD? I might go today!

Okay - just reread the original post!!!! I'm such a goon - I thought you were asking if they had reopened and if they had Disney Dollars!!!!!

I just got back! They are indeed reopened (two weeks ago) and they do indeed have Disney Dollars.

They moved just a couple of stores down from where they were before. I wasn't impressed AT ALL with the look and size of the store. Disappointing for sure. Oh well, at least they reopened though and that's better then nothing!

I was there today too!!! Definitely do NOT like the new set up - too narrow of a a store. Someone mentioned that they are not staying there permanently - they will be moving elsewhere in the mall!!!

If you saw 2 little boys at the register with their velcro wallets and a ton of money - all in ones - buying disney dollars - that was us!!!!!

I just looked at mine - the $5 say series 2000 but the $1 say series 2005

Too funny! No, didn't see any little boys. They place was full of girls when I was there. Lots of little girls for some reason.

Oh well, that's good that it's temporary as it stunk! But it's still better then closed!!

I got $5 and $1. The $5 were goofy with Disneyland on the other side and the $1 were Chicken Little.

They are "Disney" Dollars you buy at the Disney Store or at Guest Relations and can be used like cash all over Disney World. It's a fun way to save money or great presents to give out to friends and family that are heading to Disney World.
