Hi my name is Kiley and I will be 14 on our cruise. I've been to Disney lots of times but this will be our first cruise.

I am going with my Dad and Mom and my brothers and my little sister.

They are my brothers Cameron, who will be 17 and Emory who will be 6.

and my little sister, Jillian who will be 4.

Anyone else going on our cruise?

anyone? Please come introduce yourself and tell us if you are sailing on the Magic and are a tenager or younger.

I will have to post for my kids since this is a surprise for them. My daughter's name is Brooklyn and she is 7years old. My son's name is Bishop and he is 6 years old

No but we did tell them that they have to be good to go...we re keeping a list of tally marks when they get in trouble and if they get 10 we tell them they are not going!!:lmao:

That's a great idea....except with my kids They would probably be at 10 by the first day BEFORE lunch!:rotfl2: You said that your son is 7? Have your kids been on a cruise before?

No they haven't! They are super excited and we wanted to surprise them but we just were talking about it so much and at 1st we said...just daddy and I were going and they begged to go too! so we had to say IF you can be good 'til then we will think about letting you go :rotfl: It really has worked they know I am serious :lmao:....there is NO way I could do a Disney cruise without them! I would be thinking the whole time about how excited they would be to be there and it would ruin my trip! But they do NOT have to know that:rolleyes1

How are you keeping it a secret??? WTG:thumbsup2 I know it is hard! Congrats to you. Counting down the days!

It is hard to keep it a secret but we have done MANY MANY surprises this way. My kids are WAY to spoiled!:rotfl: I showed them the cruise video and they were both jumping up and down saying that they wanted to go. I said that it was a lot of money and that we would have to save for a very long time. We talk about it like we will go someday, when DH and I talk about plans and what we would like to do, they just think that we are talking in the future...little do they know:rolleyes1 We are also staying at the AKL because DD loves giraffes and DH wants her to wake up and look out the balcony and see them(yes she is VERY much daddy's little princessprincess: , so we are doing that before hand and they don't know about that either. We are driving down from Canada so we will leave at about 3am. We will have everthing in the van and then just pick them out of bed asleep. They won't even know until they wake up a few hours later that they are in the car(we have done this before) when they ask we will tell them that Daddy has to go..someplace(we will think of a place) for work and we are going too. When the week is over at AKL we will tell them that we have to leave to go home....but then we will pull up at the port. The only thing I am worried about is the fact that DS has a weak stomach, even diving down a hill makes him feel funny. We will have to see. I am talking to the Dr about it before we leave. So will your kids be in the club together? I am not worried about DD going. She will wave goodbye and that will be the last we see of her until we drag her out. Ds on the other hand is a Mommy's boy through and through. He will want to stay with us...unless he has some friends, then he will be fine

Posting for my kids too although they do know about the cruise. Megan will be 7 and Samantha 4 (turning 5 two weeks after the cruise). They are both very excited.

Megan and Brooklyn will be the same age! What kind of things does she like to do? Is this her first cruise?

I bought some Kids Bonine...I am happy to get you some...I do not think you can buy it in Canada, can you? My ds gets car sick easy too!
WOW! That will be a great surprise!
AKL how nice! We have never stayed there but we went to Boma and we walked around. Boy is it NICE...you are going to have aBLAST. We are thinking about doing MNSSHP on Friday night before...but have not decided! Kids would have to miss another of school. We will see! I cannot stay off these boards...trying to be in the "know" about things and I get so excited! my ds is at WDW right now! Lucky duck...he went with friends! And dd is at my MIL's house so we have no kids here now and this is what I am doing! Cannot stay away!
What time do you think you will get to the port? We want to get there early BUT if we stay in Orlando to do the HP we will be 1 hr away right? No biggie I guess! Who will be able to sleep anyway...DH and I will be too excited to sleep and kids too!:rotfl:
I wanna do the tea for dd and I want to do the High Tea at Palo BUT I had rather do the Brunch if we can get lucky enough to get ressies!
Are you doing tuxedos for formal night for the guys?

Mamajojo. This is our first cruise. Megan is really excited. Probably more about the cruise than WDW as it gives her the opportunity to play with other kids.
What does she like? She's into High School Musical, swimming, dancing, icecream, mermaids, princesses, basketball, playing with friends, Hannah Montanah....we could go on. (She was listing these for me as I was typing)
What about Brooklyn? Have you all cruised before?

I just saw that you are staying at AKL before the cruise. So are we. We arrive on the 19th for a week. I am so excited. We couldn't decide at first between that, WL and BC but I really feel that we made the right decision. I'm getting more excited by the minute.

Thanks for the offer. We don't have Bonnie here. Is it like Gravol? I am buying the sea bands, taking gravol with us, buying some ginger ale and then we will see what the dr says. Maybe she will have something for him as well.
We havestayed at POR, Fort widerness in a cabin as well as off site but we have never stayed at AKL before either. I am looking forward to it though. My husband is really looking forward to seeing the look on her face(he will do anything to make her happy)
Nice that you have the house to yourself! Both of our parents are in Florida, so no babysitters for a couple more weeks
We are probably going to be at the port first thing. My family are very early risers, even on holidays and weekends. My DH gets up every morning at 4:00Am, my DD gets up around 5:00, I am up by 5:30 and my DS is up by 6:00. We just can't sleep longer. We are early to EVERYTHING!
I would like to do the tea with the kids as well. They went to the tea party with Alice at the GF and had a great time.
I am not sure about Palo yet. I can't decide:confused3
We are not doing tuxes for the boys. Dh will wear a suit, DS will wear a shirt and tie. What about your boys?

What about Brooklyn? Have you all cruised before?

I am the only one in our family who has cruised before. My Mom took me on a Carnival cruise for my 16th birthday.

Brooklyn is very much into the fairy thing (we have read all of the fairy books). She likes Hannah Montanna. We had a Hannah Montanna impersonator come to our house for Brooklyn's birthday this year. It was very fun. She likes pricesses, LOVES drawing and crafts, LOVES cooking, watching Jepordy, swimming, science, creating games, soccer, webkinz, really lots of different things. She is a big bundle of energy!!!!! Do you think Megan will be going to the club much? I am sure Brooklyn will be there a lot!! I have a feeling that will will have a hard time gettig her out of the club. She loves making friends and will want to try everything that she can. She does not stop until her head hits the pillow each night!

I also imagine that we will have a hard time getting Megan out of the clubs. Her sister is a little more timid and I think she will be a little more reserved about going to the clubs than Megan. I'm hoping that she can go into the same one as her Megan as she turns 5 less than two weeks after the cruise. For Megan, its all about the social experience. I think that's why she plays basketball. Shes a tiny thing but it gives her more opportunity to chat with her friends.

I am posting for my dd's as well. Cassidy will be 9 and Courtney will be 6 during the cruise. They know we plan to go on this cruise, but don't know it's booked yet.

Hi Ladies!

thanks for keeping the thread going, my DD13 was excited to see if she could find some friends but no luck with that yet, it looks like all her younger siblings will be in good company tho:rotfl:

For all you with little girls, are any of you letting the girls bring Princess dresses? My DD4 wants to?

Also, any thoughts on what your little girls will be wearing for Pirate night? Since my DD4 has a brother who is 6 and totally into pirate everything, she's into it as well.

SHOUT OUT to any teens going on this cruise! Come introduce yourselves! We promise not to make you babysit :rotfl: MY DD14 is MOSt excited about this one thing!
