POFQ is great. It is so small and the bus goes right to DTD Kara is staying there in March and it is our resort of choice. With the 4/3 deal it is cheaper then paying 7 nights out my SIL just did this, but couldn't help it due to work.

I will take pics for you of CBR, but for the 4 of us to stay this past trip

The total was 1749 not including dining and dining was 800 more.

Hi Ladies! I've been so busy the past couple of days. Looks like you're all busy planning trips!:cheer2:

Lorrie, I would got for the mod for 5 days anytime - more days at Disney!

Kara and Cammie - you girls are so lucky - I'm jealous!

Kara, I was a "chatty Kathy" too. I don't know what worked. I guess I got in big trouble with my dad.

I'm really upset - tonight one of the girls we're trying to help at church accused my partner of "kneeing" her in the stomach on the bus. It didn't happen. :sad1: Now the children's pastor is mad at us for not having enough help on the bus, but he doesn't do anything to help us recruit. I feel like I've been slugged in the stomach.:sad2:

Quick fly by...

Lorrie - I priced out the buy 4 get 3 free for us in May and it was $1700 WITH dining plan for value!!!! So I'm sure you could upgrade to mof for about $500 more??? You could so do a week for under $3K!!!

For the mods, so far I would recommend CSR - loved the theming and the bus service was excellent for us! They have all the closest stops at the parks for some reason....

I never do preferred room either. I just ask at check in and they always upgrade us. The only time we weren't upgraded was when we went with Jeff's family last year. Even for our anniversary at YC, I booked standard view and they upgraded to garden view.

Jillian - yea on the minivan and so sorry about your toe!!! We will never buy a new car again. Our last two had 21K and 28K on them when we got them and by doing this we saved about $7K on our first car and $15K on my Rendezvous I have now. It's just worth that much extra money for the new car smell. And both mine still had their warranties when I go them....

And stay off that toe as much as possible - make sure it's healed up nice before Disney!

Tammie - so sorry for the problems at church.... I just got get people sometimes. :sad2:

I'll try to hop on later - Jeff is golfing in a Super Bowl tournament so I'll have the afternoon tomyself!

Oh, and I'm no longer blonder.... :sad2: It was just costing waaaaaay too much every 8 weeks to keep it highlighted, and the highlights weren't covering the gray very well. So I went back to my natural color - dirty dishwater blonde. And I hate it already! I'm thinking of trying an auburn or something different.

Just skimming really quickly~

I THINK I was one step ahead of you Kara - he said 3 nights at POLY next year, or since it was only 150 more to go from 5 to 7 nights, we should do that if we stay at a mod! :cool1:

Then this morning, he is telling me what about the travel to/from the eating places. :scratchin Would that make POLY more a value? :scratchin

I said I'd have to ask my Disney Vacation Expert Planning Team.

He responds... :rolleyes2

SO... POLY being on the monorail to eat at CM, Got to MK, and eat at POLY worth the extra grand - ???? THoughs????

However, it honestly looks like we might be going to WDW for 7 NIGHTS this year. :faint:

Laura, I have to get him talking to Tim! ;) Once he figured Mia was free and their was a sale, he felt that her age wasn't so much a factor!

Hi guys! I feel like I've been neglecting the DIS lately. Spending too much time on FaceBook..............................:p

Lorrie - I don't know if the extra $1000 to stay at the Poly is worth it. If you had it to spend, then I'd say go for it because it is very convenient. But if you're looking to save costs, I would go for the mods.

Hey Cammie - is Lauren's actual birthday when you are down there? If so and you already have her free ticket - you know if you register before you go she can either get a gift card or a fast pass pass instead - right?

Well, money is money at the end of the day, but the less we spend the better, but I'm starting to think honestly a mod for a week would be the way to go for the 1100 price difference - you know. That seems like a lot just for the monorail.

I'll try to find a pic of the refurb pool at the CBR - I'm wondering if CSR has anything like it? I can't find pics of their kiddie pool area.

PS - Carlos nixed the BC - doesn't want to deal with the sand. (Mia HATED the beach because of the sand and fussed non-stop!) Cammie - wasn't it you who warned me of that? You guys are just so smart. :)

Ahhh... found them - Jillian - didn't know if you'd seen the kiddie pool refurb.

Does CSR have anything like this?

Lorrie - Lauren HATED the beach when she was younger - because of the sand. I thought if we stayed at the BC, with the sand-bottom pool, that she would come to enjoy it. That plan backfired BIG TIME. She would not set one foot in that damn pool and we had to spend our pool days at the quiet pool - WITH NO BAR!!!!:sad2:

And, no, Lauren's 13th birthday isn't until the first week of March, so I do miss out on the promotion. But we're celebrating anyway - just 2 weeks early! And I'm thinking of doing the DDP - first time ever!

I think you will be glad you did - especially since she likes her steak! :goodvibes I forget but I think Nicolas and I just had dinner at WCC and that tab was $97 for an adult and a child and our plan covered it. Plus we didn't use all our snacks, but I didn't understand you could use them for water - but no worries - we brought back those krispy choclate bars for everyone and they loved it!

Gosh, I was just thinking it seemed like yesterday you had DD11 in your siggie.

Oh and the celebrating early was great. I told the girl at checkin we were two weeks early for his birthday because it was so much cheaper - and she said if we were celebrating, they were. He got a card on the "birthday" I picked - and cupcakes at each place we ate with a signed card at Tusker. Tusker made more of a big deal than anyone did - other place was Chef Mickeys -

for crying out loud. This is the only pic I'm coming up of the kiddie pool at CSR.

well, imagine a small shallow boxy pool - nothing special.

I've had them note on every ADR that we're celebrating Lauren's birthday; it's also noted on our room reservations. If we don't get some freakin' decorations somewhere, I'm going to be mega-mad!

Remind them at checkin and get her the Birthday Button at checkin too - helps drive the point home ;)

so what do you think of this - the disney line said that PO is full, CBR has one room, and CSR has one room - kept pressing me to reserve now. That seems fishy to me. Especially since they are quoting me 2400 with no dining, and I've priced it online for 2100 with dining.

Isn't that strange? :confused3

Plus I'm an AAA member - do you get a good savings going thru them?

Well - not to bother you with details - but ...

CSR = queen beds

CBR = double beds.

Didn't know that.

Also the Disney rep totally pushed PO since the boat goes to DTD for more "dining" choices. I overlooked the menu at CSR and I swear, Carlos and I can eat mexican 24/7, so that place seemed pretty much in the lead for food!

Then CBR has the new pools... ERRR.

Someone slap me - I'm getting just too bogged down in the decision, aren't I? Why do I turn into a freak when it is time to start planning a WDW trip?????

Oh Cammie - just noticed you changed your pic! LOVE IT! Love those ear bobbers too - where did you get them?

Thanks. I've been trying for a WEEK to change my avatar. Just could never get it to work. Finally had a very kind DISer on the tech.board (Dan Murphy) promise to help me when he got back into town this weekend. And he did!

As for the boppers -- Lauren and Amanda have had them for years now; I think as far back as 2002. But I'm pretty sure I've seen them in gifts shops still.

on phone :goodvibes booking now. on hold of course for 20 min, but still on hold for WDW 7 NIGHTS! :cool1:

Lorrie - got your message; was outside breaking up ice. I'll call you in a little bit!

I'm on hold still trying to book - the price is the same for 5, 6 & 7 nights - matter of cents difference, so my thought is to book 7 and if it is too much we can leave early - YEAH, I know. :rotfl2:

I shouldn't tell you we're 60 degrees today.

I wish I could send it your way with all that ice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
