OH BOY!!! Not good! Good luck with everything.

Debbie, I like your new sig!

I meant to mention this earlier, but my niece is doing well. Thanks for thinking about her. My sister has to nebulizer her often, but I saw her Sunday and she was her usual happy self. She is my son's age, but they are totally opposites. She is outgoing and bubbly and my son is reserved and serious. They are so cute to watch together.

I love this pic of them together.

REALLY cute pic! Is he the only boy in a sea of girls?

My DS is 15 months. How about yours?

Oh...while I have you..I just went on Erytho??? for my skin. All of a sudden my skin is breaking out horribley! Any side effects I should worry about? We don't pay but BOY is that stuff expensive! It said I saved 248.00 and they only gave me 4!!!!

Debbie...Which erthromycin are you on? Usually the only major side effect is stomach upset, but I can't think of which drug would be that expensive.

My son is 18 months. My brothers son is two weeks younger than he is, so he does have one buddy. The nieces and nephews in my family are in two sets...the older set has 2 girls and 4 boys and the younger set has two boys and 4 girls. My son is really influenced by all the girls, though. He loves dolls and he screams (a happy sceam) when he sees anything with princesses on it. His favorite right now though is Pooh. He gathers up any Pooh he can find and he carries them around. My daughter told him he needed octopus arms to carry them all:rotfl:

Ok I guess it's Minocycline??? I assumed it was erytho... Never heard of it before!:confused3
LOVE your new SIGGIE! VERY cute bunch you got there!

Thanks, Debbie! Minocycline doesn't have many side effects, but it can could sensitivity to the sun, so when the weather gets nice, you just have to make sure to wear sunscreen (if you are still on minocycline then...the spring just seems soooo far away!) It is an old drug but new companies have started to make it recently and for some reason, they are charging crazy prices. Some of the new antiobiotics for dermatology are over $400 for one month:crazy2:

Its been a busy day today. I had to take the little ones for a check-up. I was exhausted when we finally walked out of there. My sister and sister-in-law came over later, but I couldn't enjoy the visit too much because between the check up and cleaning, I was beat. The kids did have a good time, though. I am going to have a few hours to myself tomorrow. I am so excited! I have no idea what to do with myself.

Good night...talk to everyone tomorrow.

They were supposed to give me 60 pills but only gave me 4 because the computer was down and they couldn't check or put in our insurance card so I think the $248.00 savings was on the 60 pills not 4.

Good night everyone..
Bythe way Tink your DDs hair is gorgous!!!

Debbie- Thanks for the info. on park opening. And the food pic. I just read on another site that there is french toast at the breakfast but everybody is saying that it is a pastry stuffed w/cream cheese. DH is a picky eater but he is going to the castle for me & DD so he said he'll just eat the bacon, eggs, and maybe potatoes. I will eat it all, I'm sure. I heard that you can get a reg. plate and when they ask if you want more you can get a healthy plate. If that is true, I'm going to try that.
I was on erythromycin for my skin a couple of times. I have terrible skin unless I use meds. I use Duac gel now, when I remember. When I was pregnant my skin was perfect. I miss that. BTW, you take great pictures. When I look at all the pix on that site and I come across yours I always think they are great.
Tinklvr- Wow, you are going soon. It must be nice to get away in the winter. Maybe someday we'll try it. We went to Mexico in the beginning of March and that was nice too because it was still cold here. I was so sick of winter by then.
Pam - Don't feel bad about Photobucket. I felt the same way. I didn't know it was free. I didn't even know exactly what it was. I am lucky DH figured it all out for me. He at least knows Photoshop, resizing, and all the regular stuff. I always just let him take care of the pictures.

Tink..really cute pictures! I just want to squeeze those cheeks! Everyone and and their dad used to pinch my cheeks when I was little. They must have stretched them out. :rotfl:

I am so happy your niece is doing better. Did you order from Gymboree? In my confirmation email it said my order will be processed within 3 days so..add shipping to that, I suppose. I hope you enjoyed your quiet time today. I have a quiet day today as well. It feels good once in awhile. I call them "mental health days." I need a mental health day every once in awhile (no cleaning, errand running, laundry, etc.) so I don't overdo it.

Debbie, My skin's been on this bad course lately as well. I was taking Erthyo (huge horse pills), but I take Zocor so I can't take that anymore. Currently, I use Cleocin wipes. They help some. I thought these things went away after high school?

Lisa...the french toast is strawberry cream cheese stuffed (at least it was the last time I was there). It's actually pretty good.

Hello Everyone...

I went to the GP about my arm today. I felt it was time to go when the tingling set in! They think I have shoulder impingement or something like that. She gave me exercises to do and a prescription for Naprosin. Will that make me drowsy because I feel drowsy!
She also gave me a perscription for Ativan when I told her about the occasional anxiety issues. Opinions? Also she mentioned some herbal remedy? I REALLY would prefer to not be taking any medication for anything! I used to take a ton of cold medicine and antibiotics, asprin, tylonol, etc. when I was teaching and sick all the time. Now I would prefer to do the opposite.

Do you think we scare people away from our thread with our idle chatter???

Have great day everyone!

BTW That french toast thingy is YUMMY! And now that you mention it that is what they are calling "french toast". It is like deep fried dough? Did you ever have that???
Have agreat day everyone.

Debbie

I have had a nice relaxing day today! I did get some things done. I starting to put clothes aside to pack, did laundry (yet I still have a mountain waiting to be done), and now I am going to run out to Target for things for the trip. I met my sister for a late lunch and we checked out Gymboree, just to get an idea of how the new lines look. BTW, they are even cuter in person that online!

Debbie, I don't think the Naprosyn is causing the drowsiness. Its really similar to ibuprofen, but you only have to take it twice daily. It can upset your stomach, though. I understand about not wanting to take a lot of medications, but sometimes I wish my MD would give me Ativan. I took it for a weeks when my mom was in hospice and during her funeral and it was great. I tell my MD about my anxiety and they never offer it to me and I don't want to ask, but if I were you, I would try it to see if it helps.

Pam, I did place my Gymbo order today. I think I will get it before we leave b/c they usually ship quickly. I was excited to find out I had one more Gymbuck that I thought. After this order, I really have to put a stop on buying kids clothes for a while! What did you order? I got my DDs the pink polka dot bikini(Grace) and tankini(Shannon) and I hope we can go swimming in FL b/c I can't wait to see them!

Lisa, I really like taking vacations in the winter. I swear I have seasonal affective disorder, b/c I get so depressed in the winter w/the cold and being stuck inside. Its great to go away and soak in the sunshine. I need to do the winter vacations before the kids get in school, b/c then it won't be practical.

I am really trying to limit my computer time, so I am going to try hard to stay off tonight, but I will check in tomorrow night after work. I really like our chit-chat. Everyone here is so nice, I don't think we scare anyone away. Well, maybe the worrying and planning does, but its great to talk to people who understand! Have a great night, everyone.:)

I love talking to you guys too! I am so glad we have come together on this thread!!!!

OMG..that is too funny. That thread is definitely gonna be a classic!:rotfl2: Love your pics, Debbie. I am gonna be on the lookout for a potential lawsuit next week. With the way works been going lately, I could use a few million so I could retire.

DH caught me on the computer. He was reading over my shoulder and he saw my last post and said, "look, you said you weren't going to be on the computer tonight."

Off to get DD out of the shower. I hear her doing the E A G L E S cheer in there. We trained her well!

Ativan.....ahh yes. I received it intravenously at the emergency room. That's good stuff. If that can't make you relax..probably nothing can. lol Without getting into all the details, I was given that after I had my first (which was my worst) panic attack. It was right in the middle of my Mom being in the ICU about 4 hrs away, me working FT, building a new house, etc. It really helped. I wouldn't have gotten through it without that.

Tink, I ordered the shorts with the ruffles (red, navy, lt. blue, lt purple?) and some of the striped polos. I'm waiting for the next 2 lines to come out. I want to get DD and cute dress. Those bikinis are so cute! There' no way my Dd would allow me to put that on her. She'd keep pulling the top down to try cover her belly (The is the same DD who wanted me to cut the footies out of pjs. She wouldn't even stand on the floor until I did it!) I wish my 10 (soon to be 11) DD would still wear those clothes. She's all about abercrombie, ltd too, hollister, amer. eagle. Geesh..I am sooooo not ready for the Pre-teen years.

Debbie, that thread is too funny.

I like talking to you guys too. Maybe other people see there's only a few posters on here and are afraid to pop in and stay? But that shouldn't stop them.

Everyone is welcome!!! So come on people..I just know you worry and we can't be the only control freaks on the DIS.

Come in and stay awhile!!!

Hi guys.
DD is acting really strange lately. The doc said she has two molars coming through and her gums are swollen and red. I hope that is all it is. She is waking at weird times and then stays awake. I walked around the house w/her for an hour but she still couldn't sleep. She wasn't crying. Or whining. She just couldn't sleep. Her schedule is so off.
The french toast sounds great to me. DH doesn't eat cream cheese or strawberries. He'll just have to give his french toast to me.
Debbie- Once again, thanks for another great link. That site is funny. And we all need it. We worry too much. I needed meds for a while for anxiety and I couldn't have survived w/out them either. But I just made sure I got off of them after a while so I wouldn't need them forever.
