you guys left me :( Love everyone too!!

I never thought about weighing my luggage. Yikes! I have an 8 outfits for the 7 days we are there too. I have 5 tanks and 3 blouses, most shorts are walking short length and 2 capris. I am packing a hoodie. I am hoping I am not dressing too cool. But I'm thinking it will be really warm for me.

Then comes the steamer trunk for shoes. hahaha! I still have to pack undergarments.

off to look at the love bug thread

Sorry pal! Here I am!
I weighed my luggage with a nifty fish scale thing I bought at target for luggage. You should get one! Then you can bring it with you to weigh your stuff for the return flight.

Mine wasn't this fancy but check it out..

This is what mine is like and it looks like you can get both kinds at Target!

As I was reading that Poly article I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT when I saw the link to the resort products! What a hoot! When we got back from our trip in November I spent a good month trying to track down the mattress we slept on. It was heavenly! Now I can get it from WDW! That is a riot. Of course I am going to price a whole bunch of things out but I love that you can buy the soaps and what not on line. Hilarious (and right up my alley).....

Kara and Cammie: Dawn Dish Soap, a 5 gallon bucket and that dude's head in it!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Renee, I'm seriously beginning to question whether or not you have any sense???? :confused3 OK, we won't talk about the hair, how about the sexy scowl????

What about your 5,000 pairs of shoes and 3,000 pairs of crocs? :confused3 :rotfl2:

I've cut back. 4,995 shoes total, and only 2900 crocs! :rotfl2: You think that's bad - DD is taking 2 crocs, 1 pair of Keds, 2 princess ballet flats, and 1 flip flops!!!! Oh, yeah, I'm also taking 2 flip flops, better go toss those in the bag now!!! :rotfl2: DH are trying to get all our clothes in one large suitcase, then put all three of our shoes in a smaller bag.

Whatever! Rub it in Kara. I just might have to move to Orlando to spite you! :lmao:

It's not just an hour to Disney, it's 30 minutes just to get to I-95, then an hour on 95, then about an hour on I-4. So it's 2.5 - 3 hrs for us.

You left out:

AND CAMMIE & KARA TO SERVE AS HIS PERSONAL HAIR WASHERS!

YEAH BABY!

OH, yeah! :lovestruc

Kara I do not think POP has interenet but I could be wrong. I will research for ya!

Looks like they have it, just not wireless. My SIL is already complaining about the price. For the bazillionth time, YOU'RE NOT PAYING FOR THE TRIP!!!!!! If I hear one more time how something is too expensive, then they'll buy something stupid like a $100 hockey jersey for BIL.

What do you mean no luck? Did you mean wireless?

Slept like a log last night! Yesterday was my last "full" day of work before vacation. Today I leave at 1:30 to take DD to the dentist (hopefully we'll get back early enough to sneak to the pool for an hour or so), then tomorrow I'm meeting with the summer kitchen contractor so we can get this thing in gear!!! We really want this done by 4th of July.

I will have to sneak in a couple of DIS sessions while I'm there. DH will flip if he thinks that's what I'm doing, so I'll be discreet.

Oh, I'm starting to stress over the cleaning that still has to be done. Not much really, but it's just looming there! Dust, vacuum, baseboards, mop tiled floors, clean appliances, clean kitchen counter, clean screened porch. DH is in charge of baseboards, vacuum and the porch, so it'll get done Saturday morning, I'm sure. So this time I can be the one lounging on the couch with the remote, watching him work. Wait, that's not how it works.... he'll call to me to bring him something he needs to do the job. "Kara, can you bring me the vacuum?" Like he didn't know that would come in handing to , well, vacuum! :rotfl2:

Off for now!!!

Good morning! There's #$*%!@#! frost on my lawn this morning!:scared1: I KNEW once I took out the spring clothes the warm weather would disappear!:headache:

Kara and Laura - Can't believe your trips are almost here! Do I have it right - Kara - you leave on Sat. and Laura - on Sunday? Or is it Sunday & Monday? I swear ..... I get just as excited about friends going to Disney as I do myself (well, maybe not AS excited, but excited! ) Can't wait to hear all about it; and, Kara, that would be great if you could "DIS" live from WDW!

Renee - Can't believe my sales pitch of the BW didn't work! Guess you won't know what you like until you try it; it's good to see how staying at a monorail resort will work for you this time. Oh well, that leaves more room availability for us, Kara!:woohoo:

Have a good day everyone!

Cammie, I leave Sunday and Laura leaves Monday.

I can see where Renee is coming from with the monorail resorts for young kids (this does not, however, mean that I am condoning Debbie's merciless slamming of the GF down our throats!!!! :rotfl: ), but I'll still take the Epcot resorts any time. Of course, we have properly raised DD to love Epcot!

Me too!:thumbsup2

BTW - have you guys seen the ticket prices for MNSSHP & MVMCP? Holy moly! :scared1: And now, they have "premium" and "non-premium" nights! Geez- I remember when those tix were only around $30 a piece!

What the heck are premium dates? Fri and Sat??? That's crazy! Sounds to me like they're taking advantage of people now that attendance is back up....:sad2:

It seems like ANY party that falls on a Friday or Sat. is considered "Premium"! I mean they have some of the MNSSHP in early Sept. as premium - $56 a ticket! That's crazy!

Hey Kara -
2.5 - 3hours sounds great to me after my last experience - left home 12 noon SATURDAY arrived at villa 6pm MONDAY night!!!! 52 hours ish...... that was baaaaadddddd.....:goodvibes I'm sure I could have got a boat quicker.....

Tessa

Hey, Tessa!!!! We want more photos!!!!! :yay:

You're right, I won't complain about 2.5 hrs. My only complaint is that it is soooo tempting! And I don't want to overdo it - is that even possible???

We're at WDW in September for a Premium MNSSHP but I can assure you that DH and I will NOT be attending! That's nuts! Maybe DD and I will do a girls weekend next year or something. I'm sure she would love that.

Update...

Upstairs, completely dusted. Playroom, clean. Disney Room, ready to roll complete with air mattress. Guest room, locked and loaded. DD's room, :scared1: ! OK, still have some work to do there!

You left out:

YEAH BABY!
Yes, that is right. And only fitting, since Kara has the flea comb! That might come in handy for you girls. :rotfl2:

Oh, I have to say that I thought my luggage was over the top coming back. I noticed when the sky cap put it on the scale it was only 27 lbs, so you might be suprised?

Oh, Cammie. It worked. DH and I are drooling over it and can't wait to stay there - ideally with no kids, or at least with the youngest more like 4. I think it sounds really cool - actually cooler than the Poly (sorry Debbie) but my DH HATES to wait for anything. I need to make the first trip as ideal as possible if I have any hopes of getting him to go back! So waiting for the monorail vs. waiting for a bus or walking to get to the monorail - well, that is for another trip!

We were actually talking about how nice it would be to go and stay at the BW and just spend all that time at Epcot, with a day at Discovery Cove too.

So if we go early Oct, should we plan on doing this or is it not worth it?

The cleaning continues for me today. I'm on my 500th load of laundry. I think it breeds at night. DS is begging me to take him to the toy store to get Dr. Oct from Spiderman - whatever. DD is in to everything. I want that new McLaren stroler, but DH will flip with me presently having a Graco DuoGlide and a Joovy Sit and Stand in my van right now. I still have to dust and do floors :scared: and all I want to do is go to bed and sleep - just two measly hours!

Hope that everyones day is going well!

Renee - you leave my flea comb out of this!!!!! :rotfl2: Speaking of which, I have to do another treatment tomorrow night.

New update....

All downstairs dusted (baseboards too!). Still need to do baseboards upstairs and vacuum. Clean DD's tub and vanity area. Mop upstairs bathrooms. Vacuum stairs. Vacuum downstairs. Mop kitchen, foyer, and downstairs bathrooms, laundry room (why bother????), toss bomb in our bedroom and run!

Just checking in. Thanks everyone for the well wishes I am feeling fine. Just tired all the time and that is what started all of this testing. DH is home so I can't spend all day online anymore and I really do miss it. DS will not go down for his nap he has been in his crib for 20 mins and is still talking:sad2: He will be so cranky if he doesn't sleep. Cleaning here today too. I have been focusing on one room a day and it is not as overwhelming. DH is mowing the lawn and cleaning up all of the leaves and getting things ready for Badookie's birthday party. We are all so very busy I guess that is what happens with the warmer weather.

Cammie, did you see this????? Check out some of the comments, too! http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1810421

I hadn't seen that; but I had said to my DD that I bet there will be a "Lost" attraction someday at DHS - it is on ABC afterall!

....So if we go early Oct, should we plan on doing this or is it not worth it?

That's a tough call! I'm second-guessing whether I should do MVMCP in Nov. The parties are fun - but worth an extra $60 a ticket?
