 I think Kara just has a thing for unshowered men. First Matthew, now Jack... :rolleyes1 :lmao:

 Funny thing is if DH tried that, not a chance!!!! :rotfl:

You're so right, Renee, it's in her eyes, which is the only thing making this and "easy" decision. DH even admitted that he noticed a big change in her this weekend. She's just shutting down little by little. :sad2:

OK, I've had this open for about an hour dealing with some absolute winners on the phone!!!!! So not in the mood for this crap this week!

Back later!

Okay, Cammie, you are not winning. Debbie has gotten bumped! :lmao: I LOVE the one of all three of you on main street! SO PRETTY, and the castle. My, my... The three of you didn't look to shabby either. I guess I failed to recognize I was on the skinny board! :lmao:

Thanks for the advice about the stroller. The bus, standing, ds, me, stroller, backpack, :scared1: I will keep that in mind! I will take it to the airport though. I think it will be easier, even if it is just mostly for the checkin process. DH is just going to kick us out on the curb I think since it will be so early. Hopefully, DD will be snoozing in her carseat. If not, he will be in for one fun day. :rotfl:

I called my OB/GYN today. Told them I was a little worried about traveling with no antibiotic and the poss. of mastitis. They are calling me in one as we speak, so if something goes wrong, got it covered! :thumbsup2

I've got to start seriously packing tonight. SIGH. DS is feeling better. He is desperate to get out of the house. Maybe we will go to target to pick up some new things. Tomorrow it is suppose to rain! On a good note, the forcast looks good for our trip. Sat is the worst, high 89 with 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms. I think on Mon the high will be in the 70s. NICE!

so we are having bookers remorse....

Can you say "I still have baby stuff in the apartment"? That's bad!!!
I always get bookers remorse. ALWAYS. It is always something too. I play the whole $$ thing too, so maybe I can help you out. How many times a year do you take a big vacation? Now, the AS are cheaper, that is for sure. I totally think DS will get a huge kick out of the theme and that really drove the decision for me. Well, that and the almost $1k price difference. If it were the whole family going, I would really push more for a nicer resort though. One on the monorail. My DD won't sleep in a stroller, so someone would have to be back at the room handling naps. I would love the ability to have room service if I wanted it, love having eating choices a little more centric, the pool slide etc. I don't exactly know how to articulate it, but I guess just that "Ahh, I'm in a nice vacation spot" versus the "I'm here to shower and sleep" feel. You could save some money by changing the view though...

:You're so right, Renee, it's in her eyes,
Yeah, I didn't want to get you all depressed, but man I remember those eyes. I think she has them. I wish I could say not, but poor thing. :sad2:

I have just gained 3 lbs, but man it feels like 20. I'm spilling ove the top of my jeans, everything feels tight. It is this stupid baby blubber. I have got to get this belly gone. As much as I hate to admit it, situps are probably fixing to start at our house. :scared: If not, it won't be long before I start getting those "So... when's your baby due" :scared:

Which means she must love Sawyer...........

Hubba hubba!!!!

Ahhh, today is a very blue day. I just decided I hate all the colors in the house. DH pushed for this hideous peach and brown paint in the living room and dining room - I don't care what it's called (Sandpoint) it still looks peach!!!! I want something warmer, and taupier (my new word!). So to try to match the peach and brown, I had to use the machine at Home Depot to find something that blends, and it's a very orangy beige. I just hate it! We painted one small wall in the family room that color. I looked at it earler and realized that it's because of the dang living and dining rooms that we have to go with this color (very open floor plan so rooms are all visible) and it makes me so mad that I listened to DH! It was a major job to do all that painting, too! Why am I so infuriated by this????? :confused3

Every time I look at Bella I start to cry. Then I had a customer who was just so nasty that I cried because I was so mad!!!! I just can't get over the weepies today!

BTW Cammie - love your pics!!!!! Y'all look so happy together - must be because you have that BWV DVC!!!!

My Mom just came upstairs to talk about the trip......I guess we are having buyers remorse (well, we didn't really buy we booked)....so we are having bookers remorse....
Here's the deal...do we stay saty some place less like ASM for more days...do we do GF less days...do we do part Naples...part GF...All ASM, etc.
We don't know what to do. We are just realizing that we said we were NOT going to spend so much and now we are again!

I'll keep you guys posted.

The other bad thing is my Mom NEVER comes upstairs. She just doesn't. She let me know what she thought of the clutter though and I was really embarrassed. I could feel my anxiety rising because I have no excuse. It's so much stuff! It's so bad! Can you say "I still have baby stuff in the apartment"? That's bad!!!

Gotta go but I'll be back. I need you guys on the gloomy days here to cheer me up!

Debbie- I am speaking from the land of peons, one who has never ventured to the dark side of the deluxe or moderate resorts. :lmao: I had the thought to stay some where nicer this time but I thought about what we were going do an we were really just going to be sleeping ans showering there. I see Renee's point on wanting to have resort like feeling. Just think about how long you will be in the room and what you are really going to need. Granted the monorail can be a need. Good Luck.

I have baby junk too. It's tough being a SAHM. You just cannot do it all. Your kids are healthy and happy. You have good relationships and you are well adjusted (at least compared to us :goodvibes ) Just remember when we go to the great WDW in the sky no one is going to say- wow she was a great housekeeper rather they will say wow she was a great friend.....

 Funny thing is if DH tried that, not a chance!!!! :rotfl:

I'm sorry. Those eyes got me. I completely understand where she is. My thoughts will be with you and DH tomorrow.

Buckeye looks like trouble. I would have screamed at the top of my lungs if mine had done that. Dogs are almost worse than toddlers. DD just spilled out the fish food on the floor. Yuck-I hate that smell.

My favorite song quote is "why am I so soft in the middle and the rest of my life is so hard". I completely understand the baby roll. My favortie muffin top story is when I was just married and didn't have kids we were are DIL's house having an easter egg hunt for DN. Their neighbor girls came out to play with her. One of the little girls comes up to me and asks when is my baby due. I said I'm not pregnant. She replies my mommy's tummy looks that way when there is a baby in there. Yikes! Gotta love kids.

Love that! The great WDW in the sky..... Very true sentiment though.

I just called and made the appt for tomorrow at 5pm for Bella. I'm a wreck today!

Buckeye is sweet as can be, but he's just going through this phase that hopefully he'll grow out of it SOON! He either ate or lost all his chew bones, so DH stopped last night and picked up one for "aggressive chewers." I wonder what he'll think tomorrow when we take Bella out but don't bring her back. :confused3 They're such a part of the family that you can't help but wonder what they really think sometimes.....

Even when I lost weight, I still had my own "soft in the middle" - hey! We're kinda like Twinkies, they're soft in the middle, right???? :rotfl2:

DH called a little bit ago and I was crying - he asked what was wrong and I managed to sound really stupid and say "I hate the paint colors - waaaaahhhh!" He must be about ready to send me to the rubber room!!!! :lmao:

Cammie - I loved your pics - is Main St really that bright and lit up??? I can hardly wait to see it this year (hopefully!). I have heard that GF and WL are the two prettiest at Christmas, would y'all agree???

Also, when does the F&W start at Epcot? Does it overlap the end of Sept with free dining???? If so, we might be celebrating our anniversary a little early!!!

Ahh.. lost a long post, dang it.

Summary...
Debbie - Laura has a great point. A lot of driving what I said was if all of us were going we would be at the resort a lot. At least until 7pm -8 am, 12-5pm. Because of that, I would probably want somewhere more enjoyable - somewhere with a nice view where DH and I could sneak out for some us time while the kiddos slept. I would probably go value if it were DH, DS & me though just because we'd be there mostly to pool, shower, and crash. Now, one exception would be if it were a fast trip because the extra $$ would be not too much and the time traveling would be reduced on the short trip.

Laura - loved the friendship comment - so true. Oh, and I have already had the "When are you having your baby" by our neighbor. That was before DD. Her dad was there. :scared: He drank his beer in like 2 seconds. DH laughed it off. It didn't bother me. You know, I look fat, I get it. Kids are just honest. Can't blame them. It was good in a way. It forced me out of denial that, and I lost from almost 220 to 160 - then got pg with DD. Now I'm am just under 180. I need to get with it again, before the neighbor kid sets me straight again! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Off to Target - I need some meds.

Congrats on that major weight loss. Sounds like you are right where I am I'm stuck at 174lbs. I am lifting weights and running but I just can't reduce my intake. I love to eat too much. I had promised myself that I would loose 10 lbs before May. Didn't make any progress. Oh well. I've got to love myself anyway.

Off topic here but do you guys go back to the hotel for a swim/rest mid-day or do you power thru the entire day. I just realized that I want to catch Wishes at it is at 9pm. was hoping to catch spectro magic but we will be at Chef Mickey's that night. I need to look at my plan closer to make it work.

Personally, we do NOT take breaks, but mainly because I get more tired if I do rest. Last trip DD had just turned 5 and we arrived Sunday morning and went all day. All day on Monday. When I say all day I mean rope drop til the end of fireworks. Either Tues or Weds I think we took an afternoon break and DD swam for about 45 minutes then slept for over 2 hrs (we had to wake her and she was NOT happy!). Back to the park until after fireworks. Then either Thurs of Fri we went back just for nap and this time had to wake DD after 3 hrs and she was REALLY not happy! Then the rest of the trip was full days until we left around 4pm on Saturday and drove 8 hrs home to SC. She was a 2 hr+ per day napper going into that trip so we were worried. And it was funny because the first couple of mornings she was up with the alarm, raring to go. By the last morning, we were trying to coax her up with, "time to go see Cinderella again..." or something to that effect and she would just roll over and plead with us to let her sleep some more! Poor kid was exausted! So maybe mid afternoon breaks are good. Don't know if we'll do it this time or not? :confused3

Hey, anyone gone with a large group before? Even though our group is only three different rooms, will they put our rooms together??? Can I bribe the CM to put us in a room at the opposite end of the resort? :rotfl2:

I guess I failed to recognize I was on the skinny board! :lmao:

:rotfl2: as I spit Cheez-Its out of my mouth! Seriously, though, why do you think I'm standing BEHIND my daughter's wheelchair? Yes, I've got one of those bellies too! Congrats, too, on your weight loss; I lost close to 40 pds. around 5 years ago. I've gained around 15 back since that - not happy! But I really like to eat!

To answer both questions: yes, Main Street is that lit up! Now add some snow and Christmas music - it's gorgeous! GF is very pretty also; have not travelled over to the WL, but I've seen pix and it looks just as pretty!

Secondly: I know the last day of F&W is Sunday, Nov.9. I'm going to guess that "free dining" does not last until the F&W. That's a pretty popular event so they don't need any incentives to get people into the parks during that time.

We always split our day in two; because of my circumstances, I just have too. But we never come back to the room for too long: just for about an hour or two. We just need to chill and refresh for a little while. Plus, we're night owls, so I feel we can last later if we take that breather. But, nobody naps!

Hey, anyone gone with a large group before? Even though our group is only three different rooms, will they put our rooms together??? Can I bribe the CM to put us in a room at the opposite end of the resort? :rotfl2:

Now, this I'm almost positive they won't do - so you're in luck! You guys may not even wind up on the same floor. But that would be a good thing, right?

ME TOO. I have a fried/salty food problem. Not good for you. And the kicker is that I actually love fruits and veggies. It is just the other is easier. I need to have my rear kicked. Not a good example for the kids. I need to work on that. Oh, and ditto on the size. I was 174 until that prednasone last week. It said on the package would make you gain weight and they didn't lie! 178 now. :sad2: I'm actually hoping to lose weight at Disney. I tend to eat veggies and fruit from the bars, so we will see. Then again, I've seen some mighty tasty looking treats on those bars too. :confused3

:lmao: Love that actual park planning is rating "Off the topic" here. TOO FUNNY! I was a planning on coming in to post on this very thing. Long story short, go to Target to get me sudafed and same for DS. :furious: Can't buy both at the same time, so I have to pick. DS has Ben-D at home, so I pick me. WHATEVER. Well, I was getting it to switch him to the Zyrtec and Sudafed sep on the trip so he won't be as sleepy. Guess what??? HE FELL ASLEEP IN THE CAR ON THE 10 min drive. So now, I'm like, maybe I should keep him on the BenD and go back to the room for a nap and we could do the later things easier. Then again, that will creap into the mornings and I have early ADRs before park opening. Like Kara said about pushing her DD. I think if I wake him up and he is exausted from the day before  it won't be pretty.

Can I bribe the CM to put us in a room at the opposite end of the resort? :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: YOu know, I bet you could make a nice little phone call about 5 days ahead when they are assigning rooms and see! :rotfl2: Then again, I'd get caught. When we'd check in the CM would probably say "and we have your room far away from the others, just as you requested." :lmao: That one might be tricky to get out of!

Debbie - My opinion?

YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU!

And, Life's too short! (I will always justify Disney trips!)

Okay, so part two of my saga. I HAVE to be at our airport no later than 5 am. It is a 1 hour drive to get there. DH is so NOT happy about. DD will be ticked even more unless she goes back to sleep in the car - which I think she will. Changing flights would cost too much, so I'm actually wondering if all will be okay, or if I should see about getting there Friday and checking in to the airport hotel. I'm sure DH will say big fat no to this one, but honestly when I sat things up I didn't think that our flight would require us to be there SO early. Also, I thought I would just drive myself and DS, but DH being the overprotective sweetie that he is said no to me parking the car and getting everything in there myself.

Now, this I'm almost positive they won't do - so you're in luck! You guys may not even wind up on the same floor. But that would be a good thing, right?

Seriously???? OMG if this is the case, MIL will whine like there's no tomorrow but if you're serious????? :worship: :worship:

When we'd check in the CM would probably say "and we have your room far away from the others, just as you requested." :lmao: That one might be tricky to get out of!

Oh, I can sooooo see this happening to me! :rotfl2: I'd be like, I don't know what you're talking about!

Renee, did you say you plan on losing weight at Disney??? Because you like to eat fruits and veggies from the buffets??? :lmao: That's the best one I've heard all day! :rotfl2: You know I'm just teasing you, right? :rolleyes1

Figures, the phones are fairly slow all day, and then I go outside to plant my flowers, and the darn think lights up like Main St in MK at Christmastime (thanx Cammie! ;) ). Drives me crazy!!! How dare my job interfere with my gardening during work hours??? :rotfl:

:headache: No matter how good of a day I am having one or both of my kids trash, break, mess or ruin AT LEAST one thing a day! I mean am I supposed to watch them every single second of them in the house???????????

DD just used my expensive facial soap all over the toilet!!! Why????:scared1:
DS crumbled up his gold fish and threw them all over the coach and floor. Why???????

This is why I REALLY shouldn't DIS at all during the day.

To top it off I have an antivirus program on my computer that I can not remove! Isn't that ironic??????????????? It keeps popping up telling me I HAVE TO get their program to clean up my viruses and they ARE A VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay as I was reading this DD took roll of TP and dragged it all around the house screaming with delight. I was going to scream but realized she was having a blast.

I try so so so hard to be patient but I get so frustrated because if I turn my back for a minute my work load triples! I just sent them both to their rooms and guess what.....
their rooms will be trashed when I open the door!

Debbie and Laura - if it makes you feel any better, while I was reading your posts... Buckeye decided to chew up the corner of the carpet in the Living Room. So now he had destroyed the small rug in the bathroom, the corner of the area rug in the family room and NOW the corner of the area rug in the living room!!! I'm running out of rugs!!!!
