Good AM! I've been up for awhile, waking up a kid, making her breakfast, filling her water jug, etc, for a band event today. It has taken over our lives. One of the carpool moms is driving this AM, and we are picking up this afternoon. Poor thing is exhausted. We lost our game last night, rather badly, then went to a local pizza joint that was only open to the band and color guard after the game. It was a blast. A handful of parents went, mostly students, and I was wondering if we would be cramping Megan's style if we went, but we sat at a table by ourselves, and it was totally OK. My husband, the most impatient person in the world, was done eating and was ready to leave. I texted Meg and told her we were going to make out in the car. (We didn't.) We had a blast, and I am glad that we went. It's a Friday night home game tradiition. I got to see (not meet yet!) the boy that she likes and talks to on the phone and texts with all of the time. They sat next to one another and were really friendly. He's cute! No, her mom does not have a crush on him, too!
She had to wear the same shorts and t-shirt today that they wore last night, so at midnight I'm washing them, setting my cell phone alarm to wake me up off the couch to transfer from washer to dryer to toss, then again to take out of the dryer and hang up 30 minutes later. CRAZY. Fun times!

I nearly spit out my coffee when I read this!
I can't even imagine your daughter's face when she read that text! Sorry it didn't happen though! And, I don't know, Pam - you seem to be mentioning ALOT of cute boys lately!
Face it ladies - deep down, we're all cougars!Cammie - That is so neat that you do the mom/daughter trips. You've incented me to do more one on one things w/my girls. That airfare is outrageous! I wonder when this is going to stop? I hope that we get our economy straight soon. The sad thing is that no matter how much it's fixed, the airlines are still going to make us pay these crazy fees because we are now. They're not going to take them away. I miss the good ole days.
Sadly, I think it's going to be a long time before we see airfare come down. I've checked back on my flights again (I know I shouldn't, but I can't resist!) and the tickets have already gone up by $200 a piece! And that's just since yesterday!
It it what it is - but I NEED my Disney fix so I'm sucking it up!And what a good mom you are - staying up past midnight to take care of her laundry! I swear, the things we moms do for our kids! I hope you can fit a nap in for yourself later.
So, we're expecting Hannah to hit today - probably later this afternoon. I think I'll just see alot of rain but the Cape and Islands are preparing for the worst! I'm trying to get motivated to hit the gym this morning - it will be the first time I've set foot in the place since July!
Then I'm hoping to do some weeding before the rain hits; my backyard is looking like a jungle these days! Yeah - I have SUCH an exciting weekend planned!
Later ladies!

We're going over to a plaster molding place that you get to paint. I think the girls just want to stay home and play, but painting is always fun.
I'm thinking it is because I am adding muscle. We've started lifting free weights instead of using the weight machines. I can tell a difference in my arms and in my quads, tummy, umm not so much...
I'm sure it has nothing to do with eating with Tim.
That stupid predinozone made him hungry all the time so we all were eating munchies. He went from 130 to 148 in a matter of 3 mos. We all need to buckle down. The Y installed a new kids play set. Beth is dying to go to the daycare so I will take her and Katherine today and I will tie myself to that treadmill. I am bound and determined to have my jeans fit. I am not going to buy bigger sizes. I think I need to add more intense cardio. all the work I just don't want to be the bon-bon eating Stay at Home Mom with the worlds largest gunt.
Whatever!
