I am in such a funk today! A) I'm really tired, B) I feel really fat today. My girlfriend emailed me some pics of us from May 2007 and I can so see the weight gain!! But I'm back in that spot where I can't get motivated!!! It's 20 lbs that I have left to lose (technically 23 to get to my goal weight) but I just can't get my big ole butt back on the elliptical, and I am eating like crap!

Debbie, I'm so glad you're having a great summer! It's just too dang hot down here right now to do anything outside, other than hop in the pool!

I know you'll have so much fun once Elizabeth starts school. Even though it is scary, she'll have a great time, and you will too. I loved getting to know the other parents when Ally was in kindergarten. I think I really got to know 5 or 6 different sets of parents that year. But moving here, nobody gets involved at all. It's really weird. I think I need to get much more involved this year.

Aarrgghh! I have to clean house tonight, plus I want to work in the yard when it cools down. Then we get invaded tomorrow afternoon. His parents are driving 6 hrs to stay 2 nights. Now I don't care one way or another, but it just seems silly to me. Plus, they're taking my baby with them when they leave on Sunday!!!

As for the Mom thing....I tell myself ALL THE TIME to just let stuff roll off but for some reason when it's your Mom it just STICKS like crazy glue! I can't stand when she is upset with me even if I am 100% right! It drives me insane! It's like I am 8 and still need that approval. We get along REALLY well and this still is my Achilles heel with her. Crazy, huh. I'm 41 for God's sake!

Renee was misquoting someone awhile ago and we teased her about it, then I just went and did it....

Also, she made a faux pas referring to the princess character meal in Germany. So she's getting me back for referring to her saying something that was actually Laura.

Me too! That is the parking lot view, BTW. I'm not able to price off May yet, but figured October would be a good general idea. Sure enough, GF is pricing cheaper than standard at POLY. Looks like on a coupe days, POLY is sold out, that might be why. And it was only $25 cheaper on a 5 night stay, BTW

Holy cow that is late for Easter!!! Ally gets Spring Break that week. I hate that. In SC they got Good Friday off but then Spring Break was the mid-point in the semester, regardless of when Easter fell.

I just called the school to find out when she gets her classroom assignment. Come to find out that elementary orientation is the Friday before school starts at 2pm, yet ANOTHER reason (like I needed one!) why we can't go to BSIL's house that weekend!!!
