I will have a few cs credits left that I thought I would use for breakfast before we head out to the parks. Which close by resorts are good for breakfast?

Also the day we arrive I thought about taking the boat over to one of the resorts for lunch, which one is good for that?

I am just wondering which ones have the better food.

Thank you.

My family LOVES Roaring Forks CS at the Wilderness Lodge. Lots of choices from burgers and chicken, to pasta, to pizza, to soups and great salads. And a nice seating area plus tables near the pool.

Contempo Cafe at CR is also a good breakfast choice. I haven't tried lunch there yet, so I can't comment - but the lunch menu looks pretty good. Roaring Forks can be easier to get to, because you can go by bus or by boat - CR you can only get to by boat.

Also, right there at the campground at the pool snack bar, they have some awesome barbecue sandwhiches. They are only open from 1 - 5 (and may close if the weather gets yucky), but those sandwhiches are well worth a counter service credit :-)

We use to drive to Port Orleans for breakfast and some lunch. They have lots of things to choose from and a nice bar.

Ditto on Port Orleans Riverside. This is where we always go when we don't feel like cooking and need a quick bite with nice atmosphere....

We took the boat to the WL and went to the Roaring Forks for breakfast. We apparently go to the counter just before the end of the breakfast hours (I believe around 11:00) and the CMs loaded our plates to the brim. Taking a late breakfast was well worth it for us. We were stuffed right through to dinner!

One more vote for Roaring Forks. Sometimes we'll get their sandwiches right before we leave. They're so huge we can eat half and wrap the rest for the road.

Meadows snack bar sandwiches are good too. The BBQ/slaw thing sounded really weird, but ended up being one of DH's faves.

We had breakfast and lunch at roaring forks several times last year and it was always good. The hamburgers are pretty much the same anywhere in the parks.

We also drove over to Port Orleans (FQ) a couple times for meals. Was a pretty quick drive, easy to park nearby, and the food was just fine.

Another vote for Roaring Forks. Love that place. We make sure, usually on our last day, that we ride over and have lunch. Their food is great and maybe we have jsut gone on off times, but we have always found a place to sit without any wait. I would love to see something similar at FW.
