Looking for Central New York (or upstate?) Dis'ers!

Hey gang..

I hope this is the right forum to post this in..

I just simply am looking for other Dis'ers in my area to get to know/be friends with/ possibly hang out with .. that's all. I've lived in the CNY area for going on 6 years now and honestly haven't been able to make many friends.. I think it's a bit tougher as an adult to make friends and I thought who else to be friends with than Disney peeps?

Here's a little info on me: I'm in my mid-30's and a recent new mom. Of course I love Disney but also love anything having to do with travel, music, and summer out-door festivals. I like to think I have a good sense of humor and I'm a bit of a foodie.

so that's it! Where are all my CNY Dis'ers at?!?

Besides our neighbors we didn't know people in our town until we had kids. Now that you have a child you will make plenty of friends. Look for play groups and mommy and me groups in your area.

my sister-in-law lives in Rochester so we head out there maybe once every month or two to see her and her family! Maybe we can hang out or do dinner/lunch sometime? We love going to PF Changs out there cause there isn't one near us here! haha

yeah, I know when our boy starts school we will definitely make friends quickly. I sent in an "application" (yes, you have to be approved) to a mommy group here in town and haven't heard back yet from them (it's only been a week or two though)... I guess I felt like Disney friends would be more fun though

Not a problem Maybe after the holidays and everything has settled down we could all arrange a meet somewhere... depending on what's happening at that time. Maybe go see a Disney movie together or something?

My wife's strongest friendships are the ones she made when my kids were in the playgroups. Best of luck
