We need suggestions of causual family rest. Nothing greasy. I would like a fun place to go to. We like to eat lunch at the plaza when at MK. The food is good, fast and we can sit down. Any favorites for a family w/ a 3 and 5 yr old. I want to try beaches and cream and I hear people talking about Spoodles. We will be staying at the WL. I ate at Whispering Cannon and was not impresses. Had to take a pepcid after that one. Any suggestions would be great.

There are plenty of places for a sit-down lunch that are awesome. You mentioned you want a "fast lunch" ......

Are you interested in counter service? that is what we consider a fast lunch. A sit-down lunch takes at least 1.5 hrs.

I'm not sure if they are open at lunch, but Chef Mickey's Buffet with Characters at the Contemp.

Also at Epcot the revolving rest. in the Land pavillion is good as well as the food court their they have healthy salads and sandwiches!

I am also intersted in dinner ides. They don;t have to be fast for dinner they just have to entertain my 3 and 5 yr olds. I like the idea of visiting the boardwalk area because we could do something fun after. We have never been to the boardwalk area.

Thank you Catheren! Wow, what great info. I am Bulington, Ma and my husband works in Nashua. There are so many New Englanders on the Dis boards. This info will help me tremendously.

Tara...I was born in Nashua and lived in Manchester till I was 10...Still visit relatives "up north" several times a year....

Anyway, a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner w/ kids is the Trails End at FW. It is a short boatride from the MK, and FW is a great place to hang out...pony rides, petting zoo, campfire program w/ Chip and Dale.

Trails End is a buffet, and it is hands down the best value on property! We have done breakfast a few times (and always on our MK day...we go for a big breakfast, then head to the MK. We skip lunch (or have a snack) and then a big dinner). I understand lunch and dinner are also very good and also a good value. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the service is great.

I really can't say enough about the Trails End...it is one of those "hidden treasures" in Disney.
