Looking for BWV Thread

Hate to ask, but I can't find a thread on BWV. We own at SSR but want to try a different DVC resort this summer.

I want AKV, but no one else does. DH and boys want BWV. I'm fine with that but, I read a few posts that seem to indicate the BWV's need refurbishing.

I would also want/need a dedicated 2BR (with 2 real beds, not 1 bed and sleeper sofa).

If there aren't any of these my next choice for a resort will be BCV. We stayed in the regular rooms two years ago and loved it.

ALL BWV units are lock off units, so a 2-bedroom at BWV will be a 1 bedroom plus a connecting studio. BCV will have dedicated 2 bedrooms but not all will have 2 beds. Must reserve a 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds specifically.

Thanks for info on BWV, I will now try to book at BCV instead and take your advice and request a dedicated 2BR with 2 beds at booking.

That said, is there a BCV thread or, someplace I can get information on how others have found the BCV rooms?

Try a search for BCV Trip Report. I just did and ended up with over 10 pages of threads.

Just wanted to say hi from SI here also.

There are very few 2 Q 2 BR at BCVs (and, as was said, none at BWV) and they go very quickly and are often gone by the seven month window. Be prepared with a backup plan (either staying in the Epcot area with a pullout or staying in a different resort). Hopefully, you won't need the backup plan.

You also mentioned the possibility of AKV, your choice. Be aware that all 2BRs in the Jambo house are lock-offs with pull-out couch in studio portion. There will be no dedicated 2BRs at AKV until the Kidani building is done.

And if the two bed part is critical - all two bedrooms at OKW have two beds - the only way anyone sleeps on a pullout at OKW is if you need to use they living room as a bedroom.
