We will be making our first stay at BWV in a one bedroom garden/pool view in May. Can anyone suggest room requests we should make? Thank you.

We just got back last night from our first stay at BWV's. We own at VGC and BLT. We decided to try out BWV due to the ability to walk to two parks, and boy were we sold! Such a great resort for that--especially on our HS days. We had a 1-bed pool/garden, too.

We had no clue what to ask for, so I asked to be on a high floor close to the lobby/elevatorrs. We ended up with 2092, which initially bummed me since I wanted to be on a high floor. Floor 2 is actually the lobby level (floor one is ground level) so it was super convenient, and we actually loved not having to deal with the elevators while still not being on the ground floor (I typically hate ground floor rooms). The walk to the lobby was only a few minutes.

The unexpected benefit was that we were literally steps from a staircase that took us down one level to the walking path to HS. I timed it and it took us 10 minutes to get to the temperature tents at HS. We are very fast walkers, so plan on 15. It took us about 10 minutes to get to Epcot, too, so the room seems perfectly situated between the two resorts.

As park access/convenience was our main goal, this room turned out to be perfect and we will ask for it again. The tradeoff is the the view was behind the big slide and some trees. But as we didn't care all that much about the view, it was fine. I think we also benefitted by being behind everything with noise--we heard very little noise coming from the pool.

So I guess, the request depends on what you are looking for: easy access to parks or a good view? For the later, I'd try to be more central around the pool and on a higher floor maybe? I'm sure BWV owners may be able to help more :)

We have stayed at the BWV a lot !! I always request 4th or 5th floor and away from the pools. The hallways are very long and this can be a walk back to your room but I have always had very quiet stays with this request. If closer to the elevators is important to u request that or if u would like a pool view. And like the person before me said the second floor is very convenient to avoid the elevator. I hope u enjoy your stay. We love the BWV!!

BWV is one of our Home Resorts and we stay there all the time.

I prefer the 4th or 5th floor. My wife prefers being on the ground floor so we have a patio.

I like being far from the lobby so the walk to DHS is shorter. My wife prefers to be near the lobby - she feels the BWV hallways are too long. And I mean scary too long. She sees this each time we stay far from the lobby:

The point is, the best one-bedroom really depends what you are looking for.
