I am trying to book an extra TS meal on the DDP that is one credit and outside the parks (need something for our break day). We have so many character meals, I am looking for a nice sit down meal for my family with a good atmosphere. I already have an ADR at The Wave earlier on trip. We have dined at Sanaa every trip so far and are looking to change it up. I don't want WCC as the antics aren't really our thing. I am at loss for what to choose! Not looking for family style/buffets either....I know, I'm being picky but I am looking for something special to end our trip and something we hadn't tried before. If that doesn't exist then I'll pick Boma, as we have never tried that and I have heard nothing but great things even though I was trying to avoid another buffet. Any help is appreciated!

We really like Boma and eat there almost every trip since we first tried it. It's a buffet, but really, it's the best buffet we've had...the food is great and the service there is really good too. We also really like the Grand Floridian Cafe. The food is good there, kind of quiet(by Disney standards) and it's always fun to walk around the lobby at the GF and listen to the music or whatever after the meal.

One trip my family really enjoyed a nice, quiet meal at Kona at the Poly (we were not staying there). After dinner we walked around the resort, did a little shopping, took a monorail ride for fun. The food was good, we still talk about the chocolate-banana creme brulee we had.

So many new restaurants at Disney Springs. We ate at Boathouse last month but it wasn't my favorite meal of the trip. Very crowded and noisy. Maybe you can find one that appeals to you.

I would absolutely go for Boma, no question. I know it's a buffet, but it's just so unique and the food and atmosphere are both wonderful!

Well I was going to say Sanaa, but since you want something new why not do something at Disney Springs that day? For one credit Homecoming or lunch at Morimotos would be my choice. Raglan Road is also fun.

GFC!! I cannot believe I have been missing out on that place all of these years. We got a last minute adr there in March, and it totally blew Ohana and Boma, my previous favorites, out of the water. The appetizers, drinks and entrees were all loved by my group.

WCC doesn't or will be stopping the antics - we loved it though. We absolutely love Boma - we love to go see the animals before and after the reservations. Trattoria al Forno is another option - although we have not eaten there for dinner but love their breakfast - and love walking around the boardwalk.

It may be hard to get, but Ohana is a fun place to eat and the Poly is a relaxing resort to hang out in.

Seconding Ale & Compass or Grand Floridian Cafe. Very nice atmosphere at both & very good food. How about someplace at Disney Springs? Many popular places there.
