Looking for an apartment in northwest fl

It's looking more and more like my husband will be transferring to Florida very soon. Does anyone in the Okaloosa County area have a recommendation for a half-way decent but not overly expensive (if that exists) apartment complex that he might look into for temporary housing. I'm thinking Crestview, Niceville, somewhere in or around that area. We're really just looking for a place where he can hang his hat, so to speak. I'd like to get him on a short-term lease, if possible, so that we have a little bit of time to look for a condo or a house to purchase. It's all happening so fast, now that it's finally happening. Thanks very much for any and all info.
