On August 3 we are leaving for a getaway and will be spending several days in Toronto and then Niagara Falls. Will also be spending a day ay Canada's Wonderland Theme park.

Any tips/info/ideas on what too see in the area and about the theme park, we will also be going to the Hockey Hall of Fame, but are uncertain what else we will be doing.

Also how is the exchange rate and how easy will it be to use US dollars or will we have to get canadian money if we will be primarily in tourist area's. Do most of the tourist area's except US dollars/charge cards etc.

We have never been to this area before so any advice anyone has will be greatly appreciated.

Any advice on a hotel, we are a family of 5 with 3 adults and 3 kids.

I would change your money beforehand or at any local money exchange places. That way you will be getting the best exchange rate. I'm not sure that a lot of places take US $ here.

When in the Toronto area look into the citypass

http://www.citypass.com/city/toronto.html

It will get you into 5 major Toronto attractions. No need to purchase online, you can purchase at the ticket booths of any of the participating attractions.

There is a great mall across the street from Wonderland called the Vaughan Mills mall if you are into shopping.

In Niagara you can get the same attractions pass for a great price. I believe you can purchase them at the Skywheel.
