My DD and I are going in January for a special Mom & DD trip. We will be celebrating her 15th b-day while we are there. I looked at the Disney Florist web site and the only thing that even looked interesting was a Disney cooler-bag ful of snacks. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I also looked at Gifts of a Lifetime, but they are just too much for me.

Thanks for any help,

Tracy :earsgirl:

Tracy, PM me and tell me what you have in mind. Maybe I can help you figure something out.

How about ordering something and ship it to the resort on your own? We have shipped things to the resort in tha past and it was there when we checked in.

My dd and i are going in Feb for her 16th birthday. Some of the surprises:
....she thinks we're staying at the POP...but we're really staying at POFQ...
...having a cake brought to the table at dinner our first night.....
....telling those at the resort that it's her b-day...i understand that they will deliver some balloons to the room...
....we are going to Cirque one of the nights....
....giving her an envelope with Disney Dollars on the way there...from her Dad...who isn't a "Disneyphile"....(he's staying home)

she knows there's some surprises...and it's driving her nuts.... :rotfl2:

i'd love some other ideas too...if anyone has some.....
my dd has helped me so much...i've been through a time of being sick/surgeries...etc...and she has been so sweet and helpful....

What about making up a Disney themed tote bag-a nice but inexpensive tote with nail polish, a disney plush, tee shirt, disney dollars, disney necklace, water bottle, coupon for a special dinner at wdw, ect

I read somewhere you also tell a CM when you enter the park and they give you a sticker thats says Happy Birthday....then everyone who sees you that is a CM wishes you a Happy Birthday...

Definitely get the birthday button. Each park, except MGM ( i think) has their own button including Downtown Disney. I'm not sure about the water parks though. You can get a button by visiting guest relations when you enter the park.

My mom surprised me with a tour. It was a lot of fun. The cheapest is $25, I think. It was a great way to spend a few hours together in the park.

What kind of tour? Where did you go?

It was in MK. It was called the "Family Magic" tour. It was about $25 or so. It was sort of geared to kids but we still had fun. There are other tours that they have in all of the parks. We're going to do another one this summer. I'm finally old enough. Some of the more involved tours, like the Keys to the Kingdom tour, have an age requirment of 16 years.
