Looking for a restaurant on Harbor Blvd

I am looking for an Italian restaurant on Harbor Blvd. I think it was across from the Red Robin or next to another restaurant and I belive it was called Immigrants Kitchen?? Not sure if that's the name or not? I am also trying to find nice medium priced restaurants to try while were down there. Does anyone know of any or the Italian place I had mentioned above? We will have a car so we'll be able to drive if need be. Thanks

I'm so sorry and very embarrassed because I sware it was called Immigrants Kitchen because I remember us drivng past it, looking at the sign on the building and thinking that sure is an odd name for a restaurant So Thank you for clearing that up So is this restaurant comparable to the Olive Garden and is it so busy that I should make reservations? What is your favorite dish that they serve?

I've been there. The food is great. It is served family style, so the portions are big. It can be pricey, especially if you order wine. But it's really good. (the food, not the wine!)

Even the small portions are big that they have listed on there menu? I just was thinking maybe me and my mother in-law could order one dish and split it. The drinks on there menu also look yummy!!!!

I've been to the one in Seattle, but I don't remember what the food tasted like. Let's just say that if you get 8 couples together and everyone but you knows it is family style, and everyone but you is omnivorous and orders huge amounts of expensive food and wine (while you and your fiance order pasta marinara and water)....when the group decided to split the bill evenly AFTER the meal, things can get ugly.

Everyone else at the table, eating their subsidized-by-the-vegetarians prosciutto, seemed to enjoy their food, but I just can't remember!

If going in a group, figure out how you're going to split the check FIRST.

We at at Buca here in San Jose Friday night. It is a fun family style place with huge portions! The Margarita Pizza is delicious, as is the Chicke Marsala. We ordered both of those with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans, as well as a salad with gorganzola chees and apples. Very Yummy! I would suggest getting reservations.

It's down Harbor, past Katella and the Convention Center. It's on a corner with a bunch of other restaurants, on the right hand side. I can't remember the cross street. It's a healthy walk, a car is probably needed.

Sounds like a good idea,because things sure get spendy when there's more than 2. There will be 5 of us. me, my husband, my in-laws and his cousin. we'll have the chance to spend some time to ourselves Sat-Mon then everyone eles will arrive later in the week. I checked out the menu and made reservations for Mon the 10th. So we'll try it out first and see how we like it! Thank you!!!
