Looking for a restaurant in Animal Kingdom

Someone told me about a restaurant where you can go and see all the animals while you are eating. She didn't remember the name. Any good suggestions?

There is no such restaurant at AK. She might be referring to Animal Kingdom Lodge, the hotel. I haven't been there but you do get to see animals in many places at the hotel.

AK has only one table service restaurant for now... Rainforest Cafe. It's not on the DDP and the only animals in there are fish and animatronic ones. Restaurantosaurus serves a TS breakfast, but the only animals there are a giant mouse, a duck, a dog, and... another dog.

AKL has two TS restaurants, you can't see animals from either that I recall.

We've eaten at the Tusker House 2x's and loved it. It gets crowded at lunch time so you might try earlier or later!

Pizzafari has animals on the wall and is supposed to be a lot of fun......if you want little crusty pizzas.....

I don't care for the pizza at Pizzafari, however, the Italian sandwich is delicious!

The only restaurant I know of at The Animal Kingdom is Tusker House and i think its considered a CS I'm not sure.. There is a restaurant over at Animal Kingdom Lodge that I heard is really good its clld Boma's.

Yup, there is no restaurant at AK where you can eat and view the animals at the same time. The same is true of AKL; Boma, Jiko and Mara are the only restaurants there and none of them overlook the savannah areas.

Tukser House at Animal Kingdom is a CS restaurant, but it is awesome. I would say that was one of my favorite meals. The interior of the restaurant is very cool, makes you feel you are in Africa (well at least as little bit).

I would definitely eat there again.
