Looking for a recommendation....

Hi all! We are going to WDW in December, just after Christmas. We want to stay offsite for 2 or 3 nights before the full WDW immersion . We're thinking close to Universal or maybe Downtown Disney areas. Looking for a middle price point & most bang for the buck. Free breakfast wouldn't hurt, either Any suggestions?

This is not necessarily in the location you want but it does have free breakfast, Comfort Suites Main Gate East. My mom and sisters stayed there. They have free deluxe continental breakfast - pastries, juice, coffee, make your own Belgian waffles... The pool area was nice and the water was warm. They got it for $80/nt including taxes through hotelmartusa.com There is a recent review on the review sub forum above.

I booked the Sheraton Studio City on Hotwire for $62/night (including taxes) which is about 1/2 a mile from Universal.

Maybe check out the Little Lake Bryan area. I think I heard that some of the Marriott hotels there have free breakfast. Thought I might have read about it on Mousesavers.
