looking for a night before hotel

We are driving to Disney this trip as of right now. Cheaper to drive than fly. When driving it will take us 21 hours. I'd like to divide the trip 10 hours first day 11 hours second day. while on the second day we will arrive in Orlando/kissimee. I'd rather come in the day before our reservation for on property so first thing next morning we can go right to the resort and have a full day. Does any one have opinions as to their favorite offsite but close to property? Also we are travelling in Dec and I'd like to stay under $100 for each room we need. Maybe around DTD but anywhere close is good as long as it's safe and clean.

Look into the Baymont Inn on Black Lake Rd. It usually runs about $65 a night. It is about 5 minutes from the AKL. THey have rooms that will accomdate 5 people with a fridge and microwave. It is also very close-within walking distance-to McDonald and Burger King and a Walgreens ( all 3 of these are right across the street and it is very easy to cross). And 3 minutes from a Super Target

**when you leave the hotel turn left, when the road dead ends turn left onto Sherberth Rd. Take it down to the first traffic light and the enterance to the AKL will be on your left. Can't get any closer to Disney for an offsite hotel with this kind of rate.

stayed at this motel 6 and enjoyed it - nothing special but very close to WDW

Check out all the DTD resorts, DH and I have gotten rooms there around 100.00 and you can walk over to DTD, it might be nice after an 11 hour ride.
Or ride a bus, all the hotels provide buses, to the parks and DTD.

We like heading over to DTD grab something to eat and drink and relax, gets you in the vacation state of mind...
