Does anyone have a list of the playgrounds/play areas in the parks? My young DD will need a place to burn off energy with the grandparents while I take my older DS on rides she is too little for. Also, we are staying at WL and wondering if there is a playground/swingset there. Thanks

I know of a few:

Pooh's Playful Spot in MK right across from the Pooh ride - they can run, climb, slide, etc.

I think, not sure though, that there is a small play area right near Splash Mountain.

Tom Sawyer Island is fun and is a great place to run, explore and burn off some steam!

Honey I Shrunk the Kids Play area in MGM

Epcot has the fountain areas and the play area in Norway. Also, the indoor Imagination Play Area is fun. She can jump on pictures to create noises, conduct an orchestra, etc.

I'm sure there are more but those are the ones I can remember! Hope that helps!

This is all from memory, so if I forget some....sorry!

Magic Kingdom:
Adventureland: Swiss Family Treehouse
Frontierland: Tom Sawyer Island and the play area under the train tracks right next to the Splash Mountian entrance
Fantasyland: They just built a new Pooh area to play in, I havn't been there yet, but I will be in a month :) They also have fairytail garden where Ariel sits for autographs...there is a water splash area there.
Toontown: Donalds Boat and right next to there is a fun play area for the little ones.

MGM:
Honey I shrunk the kids playground

Epcot:
Mission Space-In the exit of the ride is a play area for little ones (this is inside past the gift shop)
There is a couple playgrounds to play at around the world showcase and also a viking ship to play on in Norway
You also have the fun interactive areas in the Imagination building and also in Innoventions

Animal Kingdom:
Dinoland has the boneyard to play in or over at the Fossil fun games
Rafikis planet watch: Petting yard

I'm sure there are more that I'm forgeting about, I'm sure you will find plenty of areas to hang out and chill for awhile. I visited many of these last year with my 9 month old, since his brothers were busy on all the rides with their dad :woohoo:

Ohhh.... I don't have anything to add but I wanted to subcribe to this thread too... This will be great info to bring for our upcomming trip with our two little ones!!!!

Here is a picture of the playground they have at Wilderness lodge

I also forgot in my above post that at Epcot between Future World and World Showcase there is a water fountain area that the kids can run and splash in...this helps on those really hot days :thumbsup2
