Can anyone help by providing a link to the transportation brochure that details bus connections and routes within WDW? I've looked everywhere and I know it's out there!

That's because Disney doesn't publish those brochures anymore and hasn't for a few years. You can find scans of the brochures sometimes, but they obviously are way out of date.

If you have specific questions, your best bet is to ask them here!

Welcome to the DIS boards!!! You can get a great deal of terrific info here. Let us know where you want to get to, and from where, and we'll give you what you need.

There really isn't one place to get up-to-date info on getting around WDW. But, many of us head there frequently so can give you the best advice.
The bus system at WDW is very fluid. There really aren't any 'routes' per se. They can, and do, change every day depending on need. Like I said, tell us where you want to get to, we'll give you the info.

Thanks for your offers to help. We're staying at POR and need to know which buses we can catch at the resort and when we'll need to go to the TTC. We'll be having breakfast at MK at 8:05. Will we need to taxi or can we catch a bus in time? Does one park's early EMH set the entire bus system in motion early or only buses going to the participating park? Thanks in advance!

Go to: Intercot.com
Click on: Info Central
Click on: transportation and select: Getting Around Walt Disney World

Maybe this will help you!

The buses run early to the parks for the breakfasts and tours, they generally start running around 6:30
If you have a reservation for an early breakfast at the MK, I would suggest getting to the bus stop about 45 minutes to an hour prior to your reservation time.
You really have no need to go to the TTC. To get to any park from the POR you just need to take a bus directly to that park. There are 4 bus stops at the POR and some of the buses stop at the POFQ before going to the POR. There is boat and bus transportation to Downtown Disney.
The bus drops you off right near the front of each of the parks. If you opt to take a taxi you can not be dropped off at the MK. You will need to the taxi to the TTC and from there take the monorail or the ferry. Or you can take a taxi to the CR and walk over to the MK from there. It is a nice walk, takes about 10 minutes.

Buses start running, from resorts to parks, by 6:30am. They don't come quite as frequently as the regular park buses, so you need to leave plenty of time to get to your ADR or tour.
For instance..you have an 8:05 seating at MK...be out at the MK bus stop, at your resort, by 7am. That way, if you just miss the bus to MK, you may have a wait of up to 20 or so mins before the next one comes. Then add in the 15 min ride to MK, and you have already taken close to 40 mins. It will take you another 15 or so to get from the bus to the restaurant. I imagine it will be either Crystal Palace or CRT.

There are these early buses to all parks. There are no buses, from resorts, to the TTC.

I'm guessing your reference to getting to the TTC is based on figuring out how to do more than get from POR to a park. As noted, there is bus service to all of the four major theme parks, the water parks and to DTD, and there also is boat service to DTD.

If you are looking for directions on how to get to another WDW resort from POR, however, things are a bit trickier, but the TTC is NOT ever the answer. Getting from POR to another WDW resort (with the exception of POFQ) requires getting to a park or to DTD, then transferring to another bus (or a boat or a monorail) to get to the resort where you are heading. The best option can vary widely based on what resort you need to get to and on the time of day, so if you do have resort-to-resort transport needs, post what you need to know.

The only time the TTC comes into play is if you are trying to get between the MK and another park. Then you have to use the ferry or monorail to get between the MK and the TTC, then transfer to the monorail (for Epcot) or to a bus (for DHS or AK) at the TTC.

What about the best route to get from Studios to MK?

You have few options. 1) You can take the bus from DHS to the TTC, from there you can take the ferry or the monorail to the MK.
2) you can take the bus to the CR and walk to the Mk from the CR, its about a 10 to 15 minute walk
3) you can walk over to the Boardwalk and take the MK bus from there.
Walking to the Boardwalk would take the most time.
The bus stop for the TTC and the CR are pretty close to each other at the DHS. Generally I will wait at the queue for one and if a bus comes for the other first I'll take that bus.
