Looking for a hotel with a balcony.

If you are looking to use Marriott points and don't mind a slightly further walk (and likely less points per night), you could look into Sheraton Park and the Anaheim Marriott. Both have balconies.

Once the Sheraton at the Park is done with construction I'd suggest it, but not until. We had a great room with baloncy overlooking DCA my pervious stay had one overlooking the pool.

Courtyard Marriott has some balconies in the front. Alot of the Hojo rooms have balconies. Grand Californian rooms have balconies.

Another vote for Courtyard Theme Park Entrance. However, points cannot usually be redeemed for rooms with the larger balconies.

Westin has balcony rooms too. Anaheim hotel has certain rooms with balconies. Hojo has balcony rooms. Believe the convention center Marriott has balconies as well.

I'm not a fan of the Sheraton but it could be good once the renovations are done. With points, I think that the convention center Marriott is a good deal. Or if you are richer in points, you could do the Westin or even the Courtyard Theme Park Entrance if you want to be close. But unless you have suite night awards to use as well, you probably wouldn't be able to guarantee a balcony. My mom and I have always gotten free upgrades to balcony rooms at the Marriott (when we've stayed there, she had Gold status and I had Platinum).

I also had a balcony park view room at the Westin and it was WONDERFUL! Check out my room! That was a free upgrade, too (Bonvoy Gold status).

The walk wasn't too bad, but it was a little scary last Saturday at midnight walking back. Not many people around and there was a crazy lady ahead of us yelling and behaving erratically. It was a lovely walk during the day. And security wasn't busy on the DTD side.

We also easily got a 2pm late checkout, too, which is usually not that doable with just Gold status. That helped out a lot on our last day.

This is how we felt when we walked on this side of the park. Not to Westin specifically. But when I mentioned this in the forum, others said it was fine. It wasn’t my experience.

Yup, it's really dead on the Disneyland Dr walk... even during the day. The walk at 10pm (on a crowd calendar 9 day) wasn't as bad as the midnight walk was, but it was still very empty - and I'm not gonna lie... it still didn't feel that safe for two women. I'd definitely recommended the Harbor walk at night.

I have a room booked with points and no view. I have gold status as well. I usually get upgraded but I really really want an upgrade this time! I love looking out at the park from my room!

Tropicana inn has balconies for a few select rooms. Not sure if you can specifically book one but one time we got lucky and got one facing the parks. Was great for watching the fireworks with an adult beverage while the kiddo was asleep.
