We will be visiting US/IOA in Oct. for the first time. We are all set for dinners, but need a couple of good counter service places for lunches. Any help would appreciated. TIA, Melissa
At US we like Louies for pizza. At IOA we like Thunder Falls Terrace. Nice scenary, the menu is a bit varied--rotissiere chicken, ribs (I think) black beans. Try to get a table over by where JPRA' drop is. Very peaceful. Nice break at that Thunder Falls Terrace.
At US, we liked Richter's Burgers or the Nathan's Hot Dog Stand (can't remember the name of it, next to Jaws). At IOA, we enjoyed Enchanted Oak, so nice and cool and shady in there, a great place to recharge! We used to get foot longs at the Fire Eater's Grill in IOA, but it was closed when we were there in May.
At IOA, I would highly recommend Thunder Falls Terrace (the chicken wrap is wonderful) and The Enchanted Oak (good food but a lot of it). At the Studios, my favorite is Louie's (good pizza and pasta) and Richter's for burgers.
I really enjoyed The Enchanted Oak at IOA. The food was great and it was a nice cool place to escape the hot midday sun. I had the BBQ rib platter which came with fries, corn on the cob, and a corn muffin, all very good.
