Looking for a good AT&T prepaid cell

Hi. DS, 15, wants an Iphone for Christmas but I can't commit to that this year. I am looking at a good AT&T prepaid cell. Does anyone have any recommendations? I saw a good price on a Pantech Link refurbished a few weeks ago but I guess it isn't available.

Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated!! THANKS
