Has anyone ever had success or tried blind dating meeting someone who also solo's at disney? I would like to meet someone but I am scared.

Blind dating and online dating can be brutal. I’ve suffered through enough awkward meals on a local basis to never try it at WDW, as much as I would love to meet my Disney-loving soul mate. And like you said, there is definite reason to be cautious ...

I would love to meet a fellow Disney Nut one day, but watching my friends do online dating scares the crap out of me. I’m just going to wait until one drops in my lap.....wishful thinking I know.

Blind dating, online dating, Disney dating sounds scary indeed. But how about a group meet and greet? Takes the pressure off one one one meeting and who knows...your true love might be in that group. If all else you would have made new friends! Post your travel dates and a suggested meeting place and see what happens.

As a local, I would not hesitate to have a blind date in one of the parks if I were going on one. It’s no different than meeting someone at a restaurant, or the movies, or anywhere else. I would actually feel safer, because I know my way around the parks and resorts very well, so if I wanted to lose someone at WDW, I could. If you are staying there do not let them know where, just like you wouldn’t give your home address to a blind date at home.

I am just not into online dating. I would rather do it the old fashioned way and be set up through someone who knows me and the other party.
