We just made some of our ADR's for next month and chose a meal at the Concourse Steak House. Haven't found much discussion at all here regarding it.

Looking for some feed back on this restaurant- thanks

We ate there on both of our last two trips and it was probably one of our favorites both times. Food was good and as well as the service. Actually we hate to see that they are going to be changing it in the near future. Guess we'll have to find another good steak place! Hope that you enjoy it and that you have a great time. :cool1:

We're sad to hear that the Concourse is going to be no longer too as it was also our favorite meal last time (and we ate at places like the Hollywood Brown Derby, Kona Cafe, Le Cellier, etc.). I had a filet and DH had a buffalo filet, both of which we're amazing! I hope you have a similar experience!:goodvibes

We found the food to be excellent , best steak we had ( Filet) Only complaint was they rushed us. We hadn't finished appies when the entree arrived. Dessert came pretty quick too but not before we finished entree.

This was my DSis's favorite place we ate! She even rated it higher than *gasp* Le Cellier:lmao: The rest of us also really enjoyed the meal. We liked seeing the monorail come through intermittently and hearing the cheers from Chef Mickeys while getting glimpses of our favorite characters

We had the scallops and french onion soup for appetizers. 3 of us had the filet and my DDad had the Prime Rib. For dessert, we had creme brulee and a chocolate cake.

We had the best server! There was a little boy eating a grilled cheese and they use this awesome tie-dye bread, I asked for some in place of the dinner rolls. The mom from the table next to our was so impressed with the bread that I had to share a piece with her (plus she was taking pictures of her food too, so I didnt feel so weird!)

We ate there for dinner on Valentine's Day in '06 and had a wonderful meal. Our server was very nice and even the kids had a great time!

I don't know how to post the link - so here's what I copy and pasted from my dining report last September:

Concourse - Both of us had the House Salad to start.
The dressing on it is honey lime, but DH had his
tossed in ranch instead. It had several different
lettuces, lots of carrots, perfectly cooked bacon bits.
We enjoyed it, even DH with the ranch dressing.

I had the Angus Blue Cheesburger, but they let me
substitute the blue cheese with swiss. Pretty good
burger - it came w/ fries. DH went with the
Turkey Club sandwich. His came with homemade chips
that looked like deep-fried sweet pototatoes. He didn't
eat those. He liked the sandwich, but it was still
just a sandwich. We had a delicious smoothie called
the Classic. It had strawberries, mango, kiwi and
orange juice. It was really good! At first our server
told us that smoothies aren't included in the meal
plan. Later on when we informed her that we were using
the Premium plan she said we could ge the smoothies.

The food was pretty good overall, but the service ...
After the entrees were delivered the server never
checked back. By the time we finished up
she still never came back. We had to track down
a different server to find her. It was weird.
I attribute that little incident to the server, not the restaurant.

Oh ... There are lots of birds flying around in there!
Okay, three or four, but to me it's a lot!
I know they can't keep them from coming in,
but it bothered me a little. One more thing. We
were at a table directly under the skylight. The
sun was beating down on us like crazy!! They
couldn't move us because of a lunch convention.

we were there last month and it was the best meal we had all trip. we had also gone to le cellier (lunch) and were not impressed with it like our last trip but we LOVED concourse!!! Everything in our meal was good. Between mom dad and my brother (age 20) and myself (age 22) we had for our appt: tomato salad, mixed greens salad, onion rings, and bisque. For dinners we had: filet, 10 oz, rib eye, and ribs once again all VERY good and prepared the way we wanted and for desserts we had: key lime pie, carrot cake, cheese cake and brulee. We were also able to get the special non-alcoholic drinks w/the DDP and then water with lemon.

overall, great service but they do not rush you out of there. We also could not here much noice from Chef Mickeys but our ADR was at 8:30pm. We were also able to leave the table to see Wishes and then return for the meal. We will go there on future visits and rethink Le Cellier or just go for dinner maybe.

Add me to the list of Concourse fans. We ate there last Halloween and had a great meal. While it doesn't have the reputation of Le Cellier (or the cheese soup/pretzel bread), my dinner was just as tasty as any I had at LC.

It was definately one of the better meals I had during my last WDW trip.

any one been here for breakfast? what do you get when using the dining plan...because there are starters and entrees do you get one of each? thanks
