looking for a clean, cheap room...

We will be staying at a Disney resort (probably), but our friends that are travelling with us would like to look for more budget-friendly accomodations. They don't want to be too far from Disney, so no extremes on 192. In the past they have stayed at Comfort Inn-LBV, and the Magic Castle. We are going the 1st wk of Dec., and the rates at CI have gone up over $10/nite since last year! Personally, I don't think the CI is worth $53. when you can get a Disney room for $66 during that period.

Have you guys found any good deals lately?

At the HoJos on International Drive, for june 1-5, I got a rate of $50 a night inc tax, trans to parks, and 2 free adult breakfast buffets every morning.

 

[pilgrimage]

I got the Best Western Lake Buena Vista for $25 on priceline-bid for 2 1/2 star in WDW vicinity. Free shuttle to disney and walking distance to shops at downtown disney.Large rooms and view of Epcot fireworks as well.
