I was wondering if anyone had stayed at Knights Inn on West Irlo Bronson Hwy 192 before. They have good rates, claim no frills and a clean place. I am not looking for luxury and want nothing more than a place to sleep and shower at, we are never in the room anyway...thanks.. :sunny:

I stayed in a Knights Inn once. Never again. It was filty, dingy, just horrid. I've been in nicer Days Inns and Motel 6's.

We stayed at the Knight's Inn in 192 exactly once. LOL. It was like staying in a wh***house, with the crushed velvet beds & the peeling paint, thin towels & various stains. Ick! The price was right, but we never did it again.

I stayed in the Knights Inn a few years ago. It wasn't as nice as the previous posters indicated. Consumers has a rating of hotel chains based on readers responses. The Knights Inn chain normally ranks dead last.

The hotel IS NOT clean or safe. If that is the only hotel with rooms available you'd be better off sleeping in your car.

Hi,
hands down best deal is
www.Priceline.com , 2 star, Disney vicinity only and bid $25.00...very good chance you will get La Quinta Lakeside...

Good Luck...Ted

Last week I stayed in the Quality Inn Maingate West. Got it thru priceline for $33, 2*. Worked out fine for me, it was clean, convenient and very close to Disney property. The back parking lot exits onto Black Lake Rd which leads to Sherbeth Rd. But if you return after 10pm the back entrance may be gated so you have to go to the 192 entrance.

don't count on that! I bid & got the Days Inn Maingate East & am not happy at all. I would have been if I got the La Quinta or even the Days Inn Maingate West, but not the one I got :sad2: It is next to Old Town .... thank goodness I will only be there 2 nights. This was to be a cheap trip just to see an old friend who I haven't seen in nearly 14 years. She is staying onsite Disney... so I basically will only be "sleeping & showering" in my room. Had I not just stayed onsite Dec, Jan, Feb, March & will be in June, I could have talked my husband into going for the extra money...but he does have a limit (and sometime I get carried away with going :teeth: )

You may want to check out www.tripadvisor.com for hotel reviews. I use this whenever we staying at a hotel for the first time.
An acquaintance recently stayed at Comfort Inn Maingate, she said it was fine for her and her kids. :flower:
