Looking for a CD...available in UK?

I've been trying to purchase a particular CD for several years. It's Les Miserables French Concept. Is it available in the UK? Many US music stores have ordered it for me, then called saying it will be 8-12 weeks, then they finally cancel my order because they can't get this anymore.

They must sell them SOMEWHERE!!

Can any UK DISer see if you can get it there? I never knew this would be such a crusade! I just know my cassette of this won't hold out forever!!

Interesting. I bought the CD for 8.99, but in the shopping cart it is 7.65. Plus shipping (3.08)=10.73 (so how much in $ did I just spend? Spending money in a foreign currency is sort of like spending Monopoly money. It's about $20, no?

Yes about $21.00 or thereabouts I guess with the exchange rate. I am guessing as it is being delivered to the US they have taken off the VAT (our sales tax which is 17.5%).

Yes, like Claire says - the reason it is 7.65 and not 8.99 is because the have deducted the 17.5% UK sales tax (VAT). Hope it arrives soon.

i think youre sorted now, but you can get just about any musical ever written from the amazing musical theatre shop in London, Dress Circle.

I bought this cd from Dress Circle and I know they stock it.. however, to be honest they have changed their website and the search facility isnt working that well. however, should you ring the shop directly they are extremely helpful...
