Looking for a campground

After a week at FW, we're taking our first cruise. Does anyone know if there are any campgrounds near the port area? We'd like to spend a day or two seeing the sites, i.e. Kennedy Space Center. TIA!

try www.jettypark.com its in port canaveral, you can see the ships come in to port. Nice inexpensive campground and beach

Thank you, Scott! Jetty Park looks great! Our DD (9) LOVES to fish.

Jetty park is very cool. It is actually right on the canal that the cruise ships go in & out of. There is also a nice fishing pier there.

And the water is great at Jetty Park. No BIG waves knocking the kids around.....and never any spring-break-teenager types blaring music.

Is this one of those parks where you had better call 60 days out for that ressie, or you're out of luck? Or do they usually have a few sites open? We will be going after our cruise. We disembark 11/20. Thanks!
