Looking for a bus tour to Washington, D.C.

Have you heard of bus trip that is offered with a tour company? I am wanting to take my child but all I can find is trip tours for seniors.

This is impossible to answer; you have not provided enough information. Do you mean a bus tour of DC? A bus that takes you to DC from where you live?

if your talking about a bus trip from home we would need to know maybe the nearest big city. Not knowing where you live try gotobus.com, collette tours (seems expensive), megabus for a bus trip then arrange your own hotel etc.

I you are a member of BJs Wholesale, they have many inexpensive trips to DC (airfare and hotel). I don't know where you live but I'm in NY and I would never want to bus it to DC.

Where are you and how long will you be staying? Posters would need that info in order to help you.

I disagree with not taking a bus depending on distance. I routinely take a bus to/from Boston to NYC. It's a lot cheaper than flying or the train and I'm assuming the op doesn't want to drive. I've taken megabus, boltbus, and peter pan/greyhound with my kids both with and without my dh and never had an issue. Also as a child of 15 I took a bus trip which may be what the op is talking about. It was an escorted bus tour from Maine to Florida. There was silly entertainment on the bus and transportation to/from attractions. The trip was broken up stopping overnight at a hotel in Virginia with an indoor pool and South Carolina with fireworks and an outdoor pool. We spent a day each at Magic kingdom, Epcot, Cypress Gardens and SeaWorld with stops at places like South of the Border and St. Augustine. It was a fun family vacation (I had a friend with me as well).

I have no idea where you're originally from, but Delaware Express sometimes has tours to DC....
