Looking for a 2 night honeymoon resort

Hi All,

I am looking for somewhere to stay to bridge a gap between staying on-site at HRH in Universal and AKV/WLV in Disney for September and I was hoping the good people of the DIS boards could help me out. I'm currently booked in for a King suite at Buena Vista Suites, but I think I can stretch the budget a bit further, to around $200/night. I'm open to any suggestions, but a whirlpool bath would be a big bonus!!

I'd try Priceline. You can get a 4* for $60 or $70 a night.

DTD Royal Plaza Hotel has some nice specials and is cozy and romantic.
Use the www.mousesavers.com link and get a discount on a small suite.

On the menu on the left, click on Walt Disney World, then on the next page, click on Preferred Hotels Near Walt Disney World.

On the Royal Plaza page, you should see the deals.
When they send you to the reservations page, click on Negotiated Rates and when the box pops up, enter MOUSE.

I would use Priceline at the DWV Resorts only and believe you'll get the Gaylord Palms or Omni Championsgate for somewhere around $100, either of which would be great for a honeymoon. If you haven't used Priceline, check out www.biddingfortravel.com Learn about free rebid zones (any Orlando area that DOESN'T have a resort level) and I know you'll be successful.

I know there's one near downtown disney, but you'd have to google it, can't remember the name.

I would think PL or HW would get you their cheapest, most basic room. If you want a suite or Jacuzzi for sure, I'd book direct. It's your honeymoon!

Perri House on SR 535. We stayed there one night while building a couple of years ago. Remember the severe weather blowing through making it seem more like Dark Shadows than Love AmericaStyle. We reminisce everytime driving by. ( oh yea love the retro cable channel LOL) Hopefully you can find a recent review.
