Looking for 40 points at OKW

I have been reading these DVC boards for a while now and am very nervous about asking but here it goes. I am looking to rent 40 points for a Studio at Old Key West from Sunday Sept. 5 to Friday Sept. 10th. (or possibly Friday to Friday). I have a reservation at the Wilderness lodge for the week but would prefer to stay in a Vacation villa. If you can help me out, I would appreciate it. What's the going rate to rent points...thank you for your anticipated response.

I have the points you're looking for, even though mine are BCV, we are within the 7 month window so I can book OKW. I ask $10/point. Please PM if you're interested! Thanks!!

Hi-
I was nervous the first time we rented, too. It's really not that bad, but there is an element of trust required on both sides. I have 40 points to rent, at $10.00 per point. You would need 80 points to rent from Friday to Friday (weekends cost more points). I do have that available, too.
To make it easier, I checked with MS, and they do have a studio available from either Fri-Fri or Mon-Fri. Let me know if you have any questions.
The biggest warning about renting-- You may end up buying after your stay!!! (That's what happened to us!). Really, you will love staying at a DVC property-it exceeded my expectations!
If it helps you to know, the reason we are renting our points this year is because we went already in January, and then bought our DVC when we got home. We can't go back until next year though.
