Looking at the parks with Google maps

Dh and DD13 were looking up different things with the satellite views on Google maps. We started looking at WDW. I know lots of people do this because I've seen pics posted, but I thought it was really neat. I was very entertained by 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and how big the show building for that ride is/was! I thought I had read that the lagoon had been filled in and now it is a Pooh playground.

The mapping services are not using current views, most are several years old. If you are not using Google Earth, give that one a look.........

When you get to WDW, go from the aerial view to the birdseye view, amazing. Takes a bit getting use to in birdseye, but play with the controls a bit, you'll see how it is. Very neat.

I put together a collection of Disney parks and resorts and shared them on Microsoft's Live Local. The birds eye views are amazing! You can even read some signs! Very COOL!!
