My DM, DS and I are thinking about a "girl" trip in May. What do I need to be aware of crowd wise etc, before setting the date? Am thinking of staying at the Swan or WL, maybe even concierge if we can afford it. When we go with our whole crew we need too many rooms to even consider it. Thanks a bundle!

Memorial Day weekend will be the most crowded. Otherwise, it should not be too bad since most kids are still in school. Towards the end of the month it will probably pick up. It is a bit too warm then for me. But I guess it depends on the temps you are used to. I'm not used to the heat. The flowers at Epcot are amazing then!

Sounds like you will have a wonderful time!

The end of april/ early may is a great time to go. The weather is great, all the flowers are in bloom, and best of all the crowds are light. With the exception of early dec, this is our favorite time to go.

hi: we love the first two weeks of may- the humidity isn't usually too bad, rain is minimal for the most part, and it's not too crowded because the kids are still in school. the flower show is going on at epcot which is very nice. the last week of may/beginning of june is a lot more humid and crowded. just my opinion. have a wonderful time!

Awesome! I never thought about the flowers! We have never been at that time of year. I know my mom and sis would love seeing them, too. When I go with my boys, there isn't much time for truly appreciating the artistic work at the parks. I will prob. look at second week of May. Thank You for your help,
Michelle
