You could also consider the Embassy Suites or Hampton Inn which is actually the first stop on that Garden Grove line which the other hotels you mentioned are on. I have also stayed at the Garden Inn which is the third hotel in that little complex and I don't really recommend it. If you don't have any sort of hotel status, the Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites and Residence Inn all have free breakfast.
If you want large rooms at a low price, go for the Anaheim Marriott Suites. I've stayed there and the suites are large but a old looking. If you want large rooms but a bit nicer, the Embassy Suites or Residence Inn are the way to go. You pay more per night but you get breakfast.
If you want nice rooms but don't need a suite or free breakfast, the Hyatt Regency is probably the way to go. I have a stay booked there for February and have good impressions about the brand but have not stayed there yet.
I've read mixed reviews about the Sheraton and Delta. These are good brands but I suspect that people visiting Anaheim find that these two hotels are low quality for their brand. I have thus far chosen to avoid these two hotels.
If I had to recommend one hotel in that area to someone without knowing anything about the type of hotel they are looking for, I'd most likely recommend the Hampton Inn. If the Embassy Suites didn't cost too much more than the Hampton Inn for your particular dates, I'd pick them.
The ART shuttle works for the morning and evening but not if you're trying to return to the hotel in the afternoon. I've paid for Uber/Lyft in the afternoon to return to these hotels before. Also, be warned that you have to watch the time very carefully to be able to eat breakfast and not miss rope drop. It's doable but you may feel a bit rushed.
