Oh my! I haven't seen any bats around our house the 5 years we have lived her, although I am sure there are some.

my parents have lived in this house for over 30 years, and the first time we ever saw bats was last summer. though we do live next to a nature prserve, so who knows how long they've been around?

According to my kids nature camp leaders bats are our friends. They eat tons of bugs.....even bugs that carry disease by sucking
our blood.

no, it wasn't daytime, it was dusk, getting dark. and no, photos aren't "my" bats, but they look just like the ones in my yard.

At our first house we had a bat get in our house, the finished basement where our bedroom was. Not a good thing to be woken by....drove our cat crazy.

We live in a downtown area and we have bats up in some really old trees. Bats are good. They eat mosquitos. They do not "attack" humans.

Our dogs play frisbee. If DH throws it in the yard at night, occasionally a bat will dive at it.
