Lookin' for ideas

I am a single father with two very awesome kids (5 & 7 yrs. old). I want to take them on a Disney trip, but I am a working class joe - paycheck to paycheck.

Wondering if anyone has fundraising ideas for us to get to Disneyland/World. It's hard when there are truly important things like Hatil, but my kids are super and we will never make it without some extra funds.

I would like the fundraising ideas to be ideas that I can do with my kids since I don't have extra time.

1.You can sign up to volunteer and get a free ticket with Disney's "Give a day get a day".
2.Have a garage sale/ebay things around the house you don't need.

Have considered a Vacation club account at your bank? It's done similar to Christmas club accounts.. a certain amount of $ are put into a fund automatically each paycheck.

Also, if you share custody, have you considered a part-time job when the kids are elsewhere. Even a few hours at min. wage will add up over several months.

Also, ask questions and use suggestions from here to cut $ on daily things.
